Exactly, I went in through the parking garage and couldn't find my way back.
This is before the mission where you use the elevators


Also, anyone got a # for the tow truck company??? I just need to complete that diversion
 
after i found the exit for the mall the first time, it was no problem after that. it is on the third or fourth floor and if you open you map it shows the exit basically.

Id like to know too. Ive done ambulance and taxi which were both pretty easy. Fire truck though is pretty hard. I get to level 3 or 4 and then lose. Then you have to start all over again from level 1.
 
The tow truck diversion is by far the hardest. The other three are a cakewalk compared to it. I suggest having a co-op partner during it.
 
Having a Co-Op partner to do Activities is so much nicer. I mean My Best Bud and I Played A LOT of activities last night from about 11 to 6 in the morning. We were just having a blast doing them together truthfully. I think we need Insurance fraud, Escort and Snatch left. Then the diversions. But it's a blast Co-Op. Still need to do the story as well! :D
 
I'd be interested to see what characters people are making since the options are so diverse. Here's mine:

It's on the bottom floor, in a back room. It's easier to find once your hideout is pimped out and you can take the elevator.

The only thing that suck is the turning on the fire truck, and running out of extinguisher.......ok the whole thing sucks. I tried like the first 5 levels of the Tow one, and it wasn't bad, just hard to control the truck when swerving and stuff.


Has anyone had saving problems?? I saved the tow truck to my garage a day ago, but when I turned it on today it was not there. I even manually saved at the pause screen, I always do before I turn it off.

Are you selecting Continue or Load Game at the menu?
 
I did all the story missions and have all the news clippings. I also haven't any barnstorming yet. I am thinking because i played as co-op and not as a host. Also, my main crib isn't fixed up even though i beat the whole game.
 
What is the extra mission, how do you unlock it. I just noticed that I was missing one and went to the clip board and there is an extra that is locked.

Go to the
police station south of the first saints row church hideout, and go into room 303. You should be able to figure the rest out. ;)
 
HOLY CRAP...I just found Julius's voice... Its at the old Saints Row Church near the Ultor building There are recordings of him telling about the first game in the remodeled church.

I was just doing tow truck. I was thinking this isnt so bad. I made it to level 6, was on my second bike and about 4 seconds away from the marker when a civilian turned his car into mine and i blew up. So thats when i found out that when i went to finish it, i had to start from level 1 again. DAMN!! This really sucks. This and fire truck are hard. Taxi and Ambulance were not really a challenge at all.

This is the last mission. You have to
go to the ultor building, shoot the security things, and then go to the top of the building, which you will get a cut scene and then continue with the mission on foot.

I got it taken care of.

One last question though.
I found recording of Julius and Troy. Do they represent a possible mission? Or just a red herring/plot line for another game or something?
 
Haha, well I was on the 9th part of the tow truck. Its not bad, get in, get the brotherhood tuck, get out. So I pull up(by the way my truck has white smoke coming out of the top) hop out and get ready to fire. Well instead of pulling out the rifle to spray bullets into them, the stupid wheel of guns lands me on an RPG that I fire into my tow truck


Its like the world does not want me to finish that mission. Well now I did he skydive diversion and have
no damage from falling from any height, including from diving from cars
. I also decided to do the car surfing one and snagged an achievement and item of clothing

I want that, so i tried base jumping and the option only comes up half the time. What the hell do i have to do? I open my chute, then sometimes it says press Y to start the diversion. Well it only comes up like 25% of the time. I was trying it at the air port since i could find more airplanes/helicopters to get back into the air once the first one falls and blows up. I did happen to get 1 silver star. Do i have to land bullseye to get the reward?

In that same room with the 3 recordings, there's another office attached which has the last mission.
 
I decided to give base jumping another try. It says land in the circle and i do and nothing happens. I dont get a score, no text, nothing. Then i try again, the "press Y to start diversion" text appears, so i press Y and my guy cuts off his shoot and i die. Did they really have to use the same button for starting the diversion as cutting/opening the chute? Seriously there are 13 other buttons they could have used.

Wow this sucks...i cant get any more star ratings once you beat story. I killed a pimps vehicle and my gang vehicles destroyed stayed at 14. Same with slice and dice kills, and head shots. I even tried to replay a mission and get more ratings that way and it dont work. Gee, i hope none of those actually unlock anything.

Alright i just got the base jumping reward....finally. I got it while doing it around the saints hideout.

Truth. Get onto the freeway and jump in front of anything fast moving. Play ping pong for a bit and you'll be well over your target score when you finally come to a stop. :bouncy:

I saw a lady rob my mechanic while I was customizing my car...

From what I've seen, mugging people is hit or miss. Some people cough up the cash right away, others take a while, and others not at all...
 
Yeah, I don't like it that I can't just shoot the attendant at a store and then [ick the safe. I almost never got caught, now every time you do it you get caught


When I see a civ robbin a place I play hero and smoke their ass like a Cuban Cigar
 
Just wondering if I can rent this for 4 days, and still beat it and get a good portion of the achievements?

Really don't want to buy it, but I will if I have too.

If you put some crazy hours into it and play it with another person, yeah. I think doing all the story missions and activities took like 35 hours.
 
Yeah it takes a while to beat the story. Cant really tell ya how much i put into it just to beat the story. I know i got 100% which took 69 hours. But i wasnt exactly going for a speed run either. I am at 75 hours and 29 minutes. LOL.

I just beat all races, most of them gold, a few silver, and i think one bronze. I dont think you get anything for getting them all gold do you? I already unlocked some stuff by completing them with at least bronze.
 
I finally picked this up at Gamestop used and of course it didn't come with the cover art. So I'm pretty anal and I just wanted to find a picture of it and print it off on some nice paper.

I thought there was a website somewhere where people posted DVD, CD, and video game box art for the very same reason.

Anyone have a link to a good scan of the box art or any other ideas?

This was all I could find with all the French lol

there is an achievement for the races, probably have to get first in all of them to get it.

Nah i got that achievement after i completed them all, gold, silver, or bronze. If it had to be gold in all, i would have went nuts with those helicopter races. but for the most part, most of the races are easy.

Only single player achievements i need are... beat blue collar(need fire truck and ambulance), spend 500,000 on gambling, and Find all stunt jumps. The rest im missing are either co-op or multiplayer.

that is good to know, but you do know you can get all the achievements in co-op, right? i am at 98% finished with the person i have been doing co-op with and 78% on my single player one, i put way too much time into this game.

Yeah, i know you can get them in co-op, in fact im hoping someone can help me with fire truck and tow truck. I just meant they arent achievements i need to get by either co-op or multiplayer.
 
Today i was beating someone up and some other ped said he was gunna call the cops, then 20 seconds later a cop arrives. LOL.

The shock paddles is a great melee weapon. I love shooting someone in the face, and then using the shock paddles to bring them back to life, just to kill them again. LOL
 
OK, can someone help me with the Hitman activity? I'm told to go to the abandoned drive-in by the Arena (or something like that), but I can't find a drive-in in that area.
