SBK: Snowboard Kids DS $19.99 new at ebgames.com and gamestop.com

This game must have bombed like no other.

I'm glad I only paid $19.99 for my copy, though, when it first came out.

It probably didn't sell that well because the N64 games while fun, were released so long ago and didn't have that huge of a following. If someone didn't know what the games are really like, they probably thought it was either a kids game, or a game that was simple/lame and didn't even give it a 2nd glance.

I'm tempted to pick it up because I really liked both games on N64 but I have a feeling it might drop in price again soon so I'm going to wait.

Or that it came out the same week as Mario Kart DS and most people didn't give it a second look.

But it's pretty cool, definately worth $19.99, and OMG ITS ATLUS IT COULD BE RAREZ.

I bought it full price (preordered) and it is fun and worth $20.

It has really nice controls and almost seems like Mario Kart on Snowboards.
FYI everyone, the daily deal for gamestop is 10% off all ds and gba games. Code is DS10GBA
Does that stack with FREESHIPALL?

Buyer Beware: This game is not very good ... no where as good as the N64 version and the game feels like a crappy downhill mario kart.

Jumped to $50. Damn. I've heard enough about it that i'll get it eventually. Basically a mario Kart style game that could have done well had it not been released next to mario kart is the consensus.

Poor Bust-a-Move. I bet half of those came from the 2 for 30 TRU deal too.

It wasn't released till the middle of December though... SBK was released around Thanksgiving.

I just got it today and thought it was good. Was thinking it'd be kind of like SSX but it's really more of a racer. You're right though, it plays A LOT like Mario Kart but I don't see anything crappy about it. Definitely worth $20 IMO.
Anyone confirm instore prices?
Yup. I saw SBK at both EB and Game Stop today for $19.99.

Where did you find the NPD figures? I have been looking all over the web, and can't find it anywhere. Perhaps you know someone in the industry or you have some sort of subscription with NPD?

um you proably didnt look hard enough. They are on GAF.
What's GAF?
Doh, I visit www.GamesAreFun.com almost everyday, yet didn't know they have the NPD numbers there.

Off Topic:
Is it me, or does anyone feel that GAF is pro-Nintendo and bias against Microsoft?

They are, but that's because they are more of a hardcore gamer's site that tends to lean with Japanese tastes, IMO; this fits me perfectly, so I love them.

OT:

I know, but I have to ask this. Has GAF been down for anyone else for the past few days? I can't even get to the site.
