Nashville's own video gaming convention returns this year with ScoreCon 3, April 27-28 at the Drury Plaza Hotel in Cool Springs!

Part entertainment and part education, ScoreCon has big tournaments, open play on a variety of systems new and old, and a lot of fun events planned...alongside big industry speakers, panels, and talent.

Highlights this year include the voice actors from Lee and Kenny in Telltale Games' superb "Walking Dead" video game, the Grammy-nominated soundtrack composer of the PS3-exclusive masterpiece "Journey" (Austin Wintory), and the video game's main lobbyist, Erik Huey, who is SVP Governmental Affairs of the Entertainment Software Association. One or two more headliner guests will be announced when confirmed.

At ScoreCon 3, the Tennessee State Championships in Halo 4 and Super Smash Bros will also take place. Entry is free to ScoreCon 3 ticketholders, while availability lasts. Note that ALL US RESIDENTS ARE ELIGIBLE TO PARTICIPATE IN THESE CHAMPIONSHIP EVENTS, not just Tennessee residents.

An overnight PC LAN event punctuates the weekend, taking place from 7 PM Saturday night to 7 AM the next morning, on the top floor of the Drury hotel. This event also carries no extra fee, beyond the price of a ScoreCon 3 two-day pass.

ScoreCon 3 is a one-of-a-kind event - Nashville's own video gaming must-see and must-attend event, hosted by The Score. Check out www.ScoreCon3.com for more information.

The event is expected to sell out long before late April, but early registration does end on March 22. Grab a 25% discount by purchasing tickets in advance, and save big money on the ScoreCon3 block of hotel rooms at the Drury as well by reserving in advance.
