Seth Green mugged in set parking lot, freaks out on camera.

I don't know why some people are making a big deal about this. It's perfectly justifiable. I think it'd be a bigger deal if he just walked like "hey guys. What's up? Oh, by the way, I just got mugged outside. No big deal, just a heads up."

Yeah, from that second video, it looks like he was down on the ground. I think freaking out after that is completely understandable.

Wow...that sucks. I've always been a big fan of his and I don't blame him for being pissed. Not sure what the hell Mr. Big Security guy is trying to accomplish by grabbing on him and saying "hey, hey...listen". A little late to be tending to his job. It's not like Seth was in anybody's face or anything either.

You can call his reaction a freakout, but it's completely justified. Anybody would be visibly shaken having that shit happen to them. And the last thing they would want is to have it captured on camera (their reaction, that is).

Yeah, I can't fault him at all for going off on security after what happened. Where the hell was the security in the parking lot?

As someone who's been robbed (didn't get thrown down, but had gun aimed at me and my friend) you aren't rational for after something like that happens to you.

yeah watching the first video...i thought what a douchebag freaking out that much for losing his wallet

but man that second video was slow....but holy crap they tackled him and ripped shit out of his hands. perfectly justifiable for flipping a table and freaking out.

What really gets me is how the dumb chick shuffles her feet when Seth lifts the table over.

Why would she do that? He just tipped over the table. Her reaction was a bigger overreaction than anything Green did.

The guy just got mugged. Of course he's gonna be pissed. He's totally justified in being upset.

After watching it again, I'm actually pissed off for Seth that somebody would put this online. I'm guessing they either sold it or got fired and this was their revenge, but either way, it's fucked up. More than anything, that's just the reaction of someone who was really scared and his adrenaline is going nuts.

But the crew's reaction seems really unconcerned too. Just a casual "are you ok?" and a really uncaring "just cool it and we'll figure it out". It almost makes me wonder if this was like a "Punk'd" style practical joke. Either way it sucks, and isn't funny in the least.

Maybe he's like that all the time and they couldn't tell the difference?

Wow, how tall it he?

WTF does he expect a Hollywood security guard to do? Rub some camo facepaint on, slide a bowie knife in his belt, and rappel down the street after them?

Like others have said though, I guess you have to chalk it up to being traumatized and not really having a handle on your composure.

I would have taken after those guys screaming "I have AIDS and I'm going to bite you! Give me back my shit!"

If you can't look at his reaction and tell he's emotionally shaken, you have the perception of an ape. And I don't think I've ever heard anyone say anything bad about Seth Green. It's not like we're talking about Christian Bale here.

I was kidding foool. The joke was to come up with a rational reason as to why the crew would be so unconcerned.

lol that was funny, both videos. But yea i'd be massively pisst too if that happened and made sure somebody got fired. It's a damn studio lot not a cheap $5 porn theater lot, where was the security?

Security was inside, moving the table. That's why he flipped it. The security guard was the guy who kept trying to touch him and said he was moving the tables or something. It was also for some ad, and not a movie or tv show.
F for Fake.
People think everything is fake nowadays. It's hilarious. If they see a video of a guy dunking a basketball over a car, or a jaguar killing an anaconda, they're all like "FAKE!!!" But a large set of breasts on a tiny girl, and all of a sudden it's "I swear those are real!!!" :)

How funny would it be if the ad was for mace?

Considering Buffalo fans are still calling the 99 Cup conclusion FAKE you don't have the right to comment like that

He just knocked down and had his wallet stolen. Princess got off easy. I knew a girl who had her jaw broken by a mugger and had to eat with a straw for a few months.

Holy shit .. Seth Green looks like he's about 5 feet tall. I had no idea he was so diminutive.

EDIT: According to the interwebs he's 5'4"

I can't blame him for freakin out, everyone was being too laid back about it. But then there should have at least been two guards anyway.
I thought the image of a rich actor threatening to get a 9-5 rent-a-cop fired would provoke a bit more ire.
Looks like you can't get past your money envy.

Eh, him lashing out like that wasn't going to help anything. Should have gone to his dressing room or something and just calmed down for a few minutes.

I bet a spoof of this ends up on robot chicken eventually.

Lashing out? Seriously? So, you've never seen someone so upset that they couldn't control their emotions? It's not like he was hitting people or throwing things. He was angry. Anybody who says they'd act differently is an idiot and a liar.

The crew reacted about the same as most people do who are the first to be informed about something like this without actually being present during the incident. Seth was definitely startled and rattled but he should consider himself lucky, it could have been much worse.

Perfectly understandable. People can't get their emotions it check after something traumatizing like that happenes, and this is speakiong from experience.

Two years ago I was verbally threatened by one of my old roomates (whom I subsequently got evicted), and after it happened I called my mom and told her what happened and was yelling and cursing to her over the phone the whole time, something I go to great lengths to avoid whe talking to her. I was so upset I was doing stuff I would never do normally.

I feel really bad for the guy for what he just went through.

Well you seem to be having trouble controlling yours, so yeah i guess so.

Seriously, not everyone reacts the same way. I'm not even saying he was wrong, just that he didn't choose the best way to react.

Well unless he was possessed, he chose to react that way.

And just because i know it will be looked over the first time, i'll say it again, i'm not saying he was wrong. The people in the room were right for trying to get him to calm down too.

The funny part is the line "why don't you move your ass to the unemployment line". I would fire the guard too. But he is lucky the muggers didn't beat him up.
He needs to get mugged more for constantly putting out crap that people think is "comedy."
Well, thank God for that post. "I think this man should be made to fear for his life more often because he does not meet my standards for humor".
yeah id freak out...i still loled because i just imagined chris griffin doing that
Verbally threatened?

You're a pansy.

Yeah, you don't get it. Have you ever been in a fight or had anything that would evoke the fight or flight response? You're not "choosing" anything. Your adrenaline just goes off, and in the aftermath, you're just shaking. If you talk to anybody at all, it's not going to be quietly.

As for your other comment, I agree that trying to get him to calm down wasn't a bad idea. But "just cool it" is a horrible choice of words. It gives the impression that you think someone is overreacting and that it's not a big deal. Something like "Oh my God. Are you ok?" followed by "Well, just try to calm down and we'll call the police" may have been more effective.
