Should I sell my ps2 network adapter

I have a ps2 network adapter lying in one of my game storage boxes.
I bought it long time ago thinking I can use it to play online but a day of trying to get it to work, I found out that its not compatible with a modded ps2.

I saw on eBay that they were going for around 40-100$ range.

Obviously, mine is opened by only touched once.
So, should I sell it? or does it have no value now?

I've heard of them for $20-50 new, but now that they stop making ( or atleast not making many) it could be anything.
