Size of Voltron Collector's Tin?

I finally found and purchased the collector's tin of Voltron vol. 1, but I have not opened it. When I was trying to place this in my DVD rack, I was surprised and a little dismayed that it would not fit. Granted I could take apart my whole rack and adjust the shelves, but in doing so, I lose a shelf.

I know it's too late to make a long story short, but inside the tin, is the disc in a regular DVD case that would be able to fit in my rack?

It's a cardboard fold-out inside, so no, not something you would want to use by itself. You'll want to find a place for them because the five sets will fit together.
