A friend of mine is giving giants to his son, I won 8 of the old skylander figures like a year ago and wanted to know if I gave them to him if he could use them with Giants.

I am not a pro at this since I am also new to the Skylanders game but I will try to help. All the original Spyro Adventure guys do work with the "Giants" version of the game but they just are not able to use a certain extra power or level up as much. I think but don't quote me on that.
