Skyrim worth $30??

CAGiversary!
I see that the powerup rewards offer currently is preowned Skyrim for $29.99 for 4000 points.

Is it too buggy to play, or have most problems been patched?

Thanks in advance.

I picked up Skyrim for my brother from a CAG a week or two ago and was thrilled to grab it for $30. It isn't a game you'll put down any time soon.

I would not let myself get scammed into buying Skyrim for $29.99 USED and have to redeem 4,000 PUR points to do so.

Newegg had this for $34.99 (NEW) just a week or so ago and so did Best Buy.

Yes the game is worth every penny but that doesn't seem like too good of a deal to me

I was never really into the series, but I picked up Skyrim for 60 and thought it was worth it.

I know there were at least a few patches in place before I started, and I only had a few crashes overall. I ended up getting the platinum, and for me, it was much less buggy than the Fallout series for what it's worth.
Skyrim is worth 60 bucks. 30 is a damn steal.
agreed its easily the one game last year that was worth a full price purchase. so much to do and theres dlc coming.

Perfect time to get it imo

Dawnguard releases in 1 month on the PS3 so once your done playing this magnificent game you can have the joy of playing through the expansion.

30.00 is a steal.

Skyrim has two questlines. The main quest, and the side quest. The main quest is what it is, and the side quest they just duplicated 5-6 times, changed character/faction names and tricked everyone into thinking the game had an obscene amount of quests. Honestly, if you get 10 hours into this game without realizing you're doing the same fetch quests over and over, just for different people, you lack many brain cells.

I lack many brain cells, then. I think the sidequests are great. I'm only about halfway through the main quest (I got the game for Christmas), but I've done billions of sidequests. Well, maybe millions. :) And when was the last time you did an escort quest . . . with a goat?

I thought it was worth the money, but didnt finish it. Game kept crashing on me every 10 minutes or so and just gave up in frustration.

But agree with captain. Majority of the sidequests are go to one place, fight your way through the cave against the same monsters you've already fought a million times, fight boss at end, get item, go back to quest giver. Rinse. Repeat.

Been playing Skyrim on the PS3 almost non stop since it came out in November, and still playing it, so I must not have all that many brain cells either. And was one of the lucky ones who had very little crashes/bugs in all that time.

yes sir. lol

I got it yesterday, got a little time in with it, good so far. Thanks for all the advice everyone. I didn't expect the coupon to stack w/an additional rewards pro 10% off, but it did, so it was even a little cheaper.

Oh, and I already know I lack brain cells (I teach middle school) so I'm not worried about that!

I played this game for about 80-90 hours and it only froze on me twice. The game is really fun and better than about 90% of my games.(I have about 100 games on my hd and 30 physical copies of ps3 games) I don't think i will buy dawnguard anytime soon, so much to do in the regular game.
