Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time Pre-Order $40 @GameStop

$40 just beats the real quick price drop to the punch. LBP Karting and Sonic Transformed are $30 now and they just came out in Nov.

I think the price is necessary to keep it competitive with these games. The real question will be does this drop to $20 in 2 months or stay $40 for 6 months?
 
Maybe Sony is shifting towards lower pricing for their first-party games? It seems like a perfectly viable strategy, especially since these games (R&C:FFA, Sly 4, PSASBR) also feature cross-buy. Seems like a good strategy to me.
 
Hmm.. this would be an auto buy for me except I made the mistake of buying AR day 1 since it was only $30.. big mistake for me.
 
Hi, for those you pre-ordered from Newegg, do cancel your order. I chatted with one representative and she told me when the item ships, it will be the initial purchased price, the order system will not automatically put in the lower price.

Only if there's another round of that crazy $10 off coupon :p
