Smack Talk $11.99 at Best Buy B&M YMMV

For anyone actually wondering wtf is going on here, the Smack Talk is a little device you put on to the 360 Controller that allows you to record sounds, then push a button to have it play back over the Live voice chat.

OP, you should edit your post to include a link and short description.

And dont use acronyms you need to explain.

Lol, I'm sorry for diverting the thread

I think CheapyD has a video of him reviewing the Smack Talk and another product like it, so if anybody wants to know how it is check those out.

and avoid

because the hail fire of preorders they want you to take.

What's the difference? It appears the Trash Talk is Datel's model for the UK, and the Smack Talk is for the US.

I think CheapyD said that the Smack talk can record 4 or 5 5-second samples, while the Trash Talk can record 16 samples. A sample can be up to 1-minute long, but you cannot fit in 16 1-minute samples.

I will buy the Trash Talk when I get the chance.

Imagine you're in Rainbow 6 Vegas, your team is sneaking around, suddenly you hear some porno sounds from someone's Trash Talk recordings! Everyone in the team would be like "WTF!!!!!!"

but a smack talk is 1/3 the price of trash talk and does the same function. i thought you guys were cheap!

But it is also 3/3 inferior to TrashTalk.

yea thats just it, 10 is a bargain but how annoying to have to record everything into it. I would love to just plug it in and upload the sounds. not to mention the amount of sounds you can put in it. Also note the size is killer, who wants to tote around a whale when trying to play a game? if any1 ever sees this trash talk go on sale, YELL AT US!!! This would be fun on my 360 poker nights.

First of all, the time difference is vast. The trash talk can hold more sounds, right? Also, it is smaller... have you seen the review that cheapy did? Come on, the smack talk takes batteries and weighs down the controller. Also, the uploading on the smack talk seems to be a pain in the anus. I mean, come on, why not just have an upload, but of course not, because timing is everything, and we as gamers need to learn how to properly record things..

Yes, I AM implying that the Trash Talk is better.
first of all there both worthless. second they are really stupid and anoying
Agreed, but I still bought the Smack Talk from BB for $11.99. Confirming that the deal is available in stores...

Oh, and yes, it is really lame... But of course, as cheapyD has proved, howard stern clips can come in handy online.

And i'm putting the "HEADSHOT!!!" and "GODLIKE!!!" sounds on it soon.

I actually use this for NHL 2k7 sounds online. Whenever I go on the powerplay you can hear the Jaws theme song. Whenever I score you can hear Randy Hahn "Fakes - Shoots- SCORES! WHAT A GOAL!"
