Is the blu-ray going to be an extended version?  I thought I read they cut a bunch of stuff for the American theatrical release.

My understanding was that originally the director was asked to make a different cut and add a voice over track, but he refused and went fairly public about it. After a while the studio agreed to use the original cut, but the film got a substantially smaller theatrical release. Here's hoping it does great on BD/DVD/VOD to justify more unique movies like this.

I watched this movie in Korea when it made its original debut. I also watched it back in the States when it had its small run.

From what I could tell, both cuts were pretty much identical as far as I could see.

thanks dude. eh an extra $2 for a vudu copy is fine. just wish it was a better package. still thought the movie was great
