I have the Astro Gaming A40 Audio System -- are these much better?

Moving out of apartment and getting proper surround setup. I rarely play online much anymore so don't care about chat. They do work on all platforms, Xbone needs an adapter to chat.
Honestly not familiar with A40s, these A50s are widely regarded as best out there though and wireless. I've owned top of the line Turtles and Trittons over the years and these blew those away.
