I figured I'd create a thread in the movie section for Sony's Reward system. Everytime you buy a Sony Blu-ray or DVD it comes with a code that allows you to register your disc at sonyrewards.com. You get 30 points per BD, 15 points per DVD, and if you're a Sony Cardholder you get 45 points, and 25 points respectively. Registration is completely free.

Now the best part about this is the codes are multi-use. So anyone who buys a Sony pictures studio movie can pass along their code in this thread. I've made it a Wiki thread so you can easily add your code to the list. Please post in the thread which code you've added as well, thanks.

It is 10 disk registrations in a ROLLING 30 day period with a maximum of 3 disk registrations per day
Red = Titles that are either not released yet, or no code has been posted for it

So that's 945 points so far (1465 for cardholders). Feel free to post any for other movies listed there! Eventually we can earn enough to get some movies and other rewards from their site \\ :D/

Also I do realize there is a Sony Reward thread in the PS3 section, but it's a bit of a mess with movie codes posted here and there. I figured since this is a movie section it's best to have them all neatly organized in a centralized section.

(credit to the folks at Blu-ray.com for some of these codes)
The listed codes in the OP plus the Spidey video put you over 1000 points. Enjoy, guys!
I checked the Spidey Video and i think its dead. So that leaves 945 points plus 10 points from WoF = 955 points.
Oh.. oh my.

Let the games begin!

EDIT: Spidey video still works. I just did it.
The Blu-ray forum gave out this link, and i tried it but it didnt work.. I guess it was the wrong link.

Question, Can you create multiple accounts to continuously get $10 PSN codes?...............Not that i am going to abuse this or anything....... :whistle2:#

EDIT: I found the right link and can also confirm that the spidey video also works!

I was thinking this too, but you need to have either a Sony or PlayStation credit card linked to get the $10 PSN code for 1000 points :p
Did you get the code instantly?

So basically, everyone can get the $10 PSN Code for free, cause i think the Blu-ray codes go up to at least 1000 points.

BTW, i just noticed that you get 10 pts everyday by playing the WoF game.
yup, i'm a non-cardmember and i've got around 1100 points thanks to this thread.

I'll confirm that the $10 Sony Entertainment Network code adds to your PSN wallet just like the actual PSN cards with no Sonycard requirement. Big thanks to the OP for compiling the codes needed to get to 1000.

Yes. Huge thanks to everyone who pitched in. Seriously everyone here rocks. :applause:
Not me... But I think my "sister" and "wife" may sign up for an account...
I have some extended family who would LOVE this promotion!
It's idiots like you who ruin deals for everyone else.
I have yet to see anyone say they had done more than one. fuck off and die.

Yet you hint at your "wife" and "sister" making one and subsequently being disappointed when they killed the SEN codes. The fact that you haven't even denied that you made multiple accounts but get defensive about it pretty much proves to me that you have. Whatever though, it's pretty clear what kind of character you have.

Anyone else think that this may have always been intended as a cardmember exclusive and the fact that it was available to everyone for about 24 hours after its debut was just good luck? The fact that this hasn't been mentioned anywhere but this thread (ie. not on slickdeals) makes me think that there couldn't possibly have been enough "abuse" to force a changeover.

I can screen shot the one $10 credit I redeemed yesterday, if I cared enough to do so. I don't. You just assumed. That's what I took issue with. I don't have enough time to sit around entering codes for hours to get 10 fucking dollars.

I slightly concur. Maybe there was an error in their system that enabled the supposed card member exclusive to be available for everyone else. At the same token, however, i keep differentiating the SEN codes and their PSN counterparts. What is the difference? Can't you use either one to purchase music, videos, and games? So maybe the SEN codes were intended to be available for anyone, while their PSN counterparts are card member exclusives. What's the point in having both the PSN and SEN codes as card member exclusives? More option? But why? It doesn't make sense to me. The reason might be because this was abused (Not having it on slickdeals does not mean it was not abused, me thinks)

I know that things get abused other places than slickdeals, my point was just that it's not there, I didn't see it mentioned on other deal sites, and this thread only got a few posts (2 or 3 pages I think) about it. It just wasn't seen by enough people that rampant abuse would likely have occurred, in my opinion.
Damn. I though Cheapy had blocked ravens fans from the forums ;)
So i guess you own every DVD and blu that you've registered codes for, right? Because otherwise you're taking advantage of the system, naughty boy.

I'd say there's a huge difference between applying a multi-use code to your account and making multiple accounts with the sole purpose of reaping as many $10 PSN/SEN codes as you can. The SEN codes appear to be a recent addition and it's clear that it's probably been abused since they took down the $10 ones already. Prior to that, just about everything else in the store was overpriced and you likely had to pay money out of pocket to get what you wanted, which I have personally done recently myself. I wont get into this too much, but personally, I do think Sony should smarten up and be like Disney and use unique codes for every copy of their movies

I am going to side with the "Forgot to make it cardmember exclusive" camp.

Not even SD knew about it. Also 24 hours doesn't seem like enough time for people to abuse it.

Friend wanted in on some of the Sony goodness and it looks like they set a limit for how many dvds you can register at one time.

Looks like the fun is done for some.

Just incase anybody says I tried to sign up again and there was no friend.

Says the guy who created this thread meant to milk and abuse the sony rewards program.

Hard to have updates when nothing new has come out...

The next one to be released is The Pirates! Band of Misfits which comes out Aug. 28th

Do Sony Cardholders still get 45 points instead of 30 points? And do Playstation Cards count for this as well, or only Sony Cards specifically?
FAQs now state three discs per month. Ouch.
I am sure this is to slow down the sharing of codes, but three per month! Even three per week would be rough, but 3 per month is pretty...well...weak.

I guess it sucks for people new to this, but it really won't have an impact on people that have been doing all the codes as they come in as they rarely even have 3 new codes a month to enter.

Tweet or call them and tell them to fix it.

It's lame and scares new people away.

ouch, can sony make this card even worse?
(probably, next month, the limit will probably be three discs per decade)
