I figured I'd create a thread in the movie section for Sony's Reward system. Everytime you buy a Sony Blu-ray or DVD it comes with a code that allows you to register your disc at sonyrewards.com. You get 30 points per BD, 15 points per DVD, and if you're a Sony Cardholder you get 45 points, and 25 points respectively. Registration is completely free.

Now the best part about this is the codes are multi-use. So anyone who buys a Sony pictures studio movie can pass along their code in this thread. I've made it a Wiki thread so you can easily add your code to the list. Please post in the thread which code you've added as well, thanks.

So that's 945 points so far (1465 for cardholders). Feel free to post any for other movies listed there! Eventually we can earn enough to get some movies and other rewards from their site \\ :D/

Also I do realize there is a Sony Reward thread in the PS3 section, but it's a bit of a mess with movie codes posted here and there. I figured since this is a movie section it's best to have them all neatly organized in a centralized section.

Other ways to earn points

Get up to 250 points for playing the Elysium game. You don't actually have to play, just hit the Share link found on the page (under the game window) login to get 50 points, share on fb for another 200:

I have 2 extra stubs to both Robocop and Monuments men and can easily write your required number on the stubs and email you a picture to submit for 400 points for each movie if anybody needs them, im looking to trade for 40 mycokerewards points PM me if your interested.

I signed up and got 75 redemption points + 250 each for the Robocop and Spider-Man games. 575 points. Not bad for my first day.

 
I contacted Sony Rewards after not getting my 500 points from the Music Unlimited trial, here's what they had to say:

ty for the update. im having the same issue. but they told me to wait at least 5 days. it's been like 3 weeks. lol

 
Can you use Twitter to get the 200 points from the Robocop and Spiderman games? I only see the option to use Facebook but I think I've seen people mention using Twitter.

 
Well the CAG deals front page and Slickdeals are really ruining our fun.  The new $5 codes flew off the virtual shelves and more than like the $10 codes will be out of stock soon with people figuring $10 for $5 is still a good enough deal for them.

EDIT: Doesn't really matter for those that order other things from Sony Rewards, but I exclusively order PSN cards from them.

Zero Dark Thirty only gave me 1 point.

Hopefully a temporary situation. I should have been on top of these earlier...

I just signed up now for the 500 points through facebook, and unfortunately even the $5 PSN code doesn't work (or is sold out).

Anyone else getting this?

 
i registered robocop calibration and spider-man , now i have 915 points and i need 85 for 1000 , how can i get 85 points ?

you can only register three movies a month apparently which is a really dumb limitation

Unfortunately, the older titles are now worth 1 point per disc registered, you can earn more points by registering the newer titles.

For more ways to earn points login at www.SonyRewards.com, click on <Earn Rewards> tab and choose <Earn Rewards> from the drop down box.

That is bullshit, but I know why this happened. People were abusing this so bad for awhile now. They'd create dummy accounts and redeem all the offers, take a digital code (physical rewards need address of course), then do it all over again with more accounts. Obviously I did not do this, one account, but sites like slickdeals and people with no morals are why we can't have nice things.

The 2 overlapping promos at once (Robocop + Spiderman 2) is probably what did it. Robocop promo has been active for months now, and Spiderman 2 just started. This is the End promo ended before Robocop started, I think.

Really sucks for those of us with legit accounts.

 
Welp, sucks for legit purchasers of those DVDs and Bluray discs now....only worth 1 SR point, so just 1 penny.

Well that sucks, not sure why that happened. So every movie is 1pt now? You at least might be able to argue more saying it is a freaking new movie, with support.

Sony Rewards did send me a 2nd email, I can't be bothered to copy-paste it. It said "Sorry you are unable to login to website, here is how". Yeah...thanks...that wasn't my problem.

I'm guessing by "new" they mean new from whenever they decided to change the system.

 
To anyone else who went in for the "spend 4000 points, receive 4000 points" deal, i just figured i'd mention my points showed up in my account today.  Used them immediately to buy two $20 PSN codes, which are currently in stock, along with $10 and $50 codes($5 currently out of stock).

well that's BS, I just got some of these movies from the sale Best Buy had so for Sony to screw over the points makes me not even want to bother with Sony Rewards

Yeah, sucks. I have at least 50 Sony blu-rays legitimately too. But I never bothered signing up for Sony rewards until that facebook game promotion (for the $5).

I was going to start inputting them for 45 poitns each, but for 1 point I won't even bother.
