Sony recently settled with the FTC over a complaint about some of the Vita's launch-era advertising for features that did not perform as promoted, namely the PS3-Vita cross-platform functions. The FTC also filed a complaint against the Vita's advertrising agency for [SIZE=10.5pt]erroneously [/SIZE]using the hashtag "#gamechanger", striking a serious blow to people who love to tweet over-used, hyperbolic words.
What does that mean for you? Well, if you bought a Vita before June 2012, you should soon be recieving an email from Sony offering you either $25 in cash/credit, or $50 towards a select game.
I bought a Vita at launch, and didn't even notice any of this shit, but I'll gladly take a credit if they are offering it.
