~$103 shipped ($100 - 10% + $5 shipping + tax) is a good deal for a good stick if you like the Namco Noir arcade button layout.

Previous poster did say the free shipping coupon doesn't stack assuming that's what you tried to do. I got each promo code to work seperately but not stacked just to verify.

Thanks OP! I picked up a brawl stick for 360 that I'm going to mod. I have a MvC3 TE for PS3, but nothing for 360.

I know what sanwa parts to order, but how much do you think dual modding would cost me? I have a soldering iron which I know is often the most expensive part for people dual modding. If I remember correctly, TEasy doesn't work on the SE sticks, correct?

I don't know. These are I assume up to par with in terms of quality with madcatz tourney sticks. But I don't think I would take chances on hori's or even madcatz's current sets of high end sticks.

What I prefer is the first gen tourney sticks from madcatz. In terms of design, quality of the parts, and just overall feeling of an arcade sticks, I really don't want other sticks. Now, I do have two first gen sf4 tourney sticks. And theyre awesome. I am on the market for sixty version of arcade sticks and every time when I see a a deal for cheap high end stick, I hesitate to decide on the purchase and go to eBay and buy the first gen for premium. I'm not hearing good reviews on sfxt tourney sticks either. So I just might stay away from those as well. Unless those comes down in prices significantly.

They use the same parts dude, all sanwa. Amazon had the SFxT stick for $100 which was a steal (lightning deal)

lol if would be funny if they had a free shipping code called MALFESTED

Anyways I got a RB3 Keyboard and they had the stand for $5 so I got one of those too.

If those Hori SCV sticks hit $80 I'm all over it. While I love the design of these sticks (especially the recessed and door-covered Start button), I have waaaay too many MadCatz sticks that I already don't ever use.

FWIW, these 1st gen MC TE sticks (both round 1 & 2) had PCB isssues. Then again, I owned a couple & never experienced these issues. I prefer Hori over Madcatz (for high-end stickz) but that's just me. And yes, all these high-end sticks use the same Sanwa parts.
