looks to be some sort of 8 legged creature. perhaps something from the arachnid class.

Well the two up front look more like 'pincers' then legs.

Looks like a wolf spider. Iirc their bites are painful so be careful if you have an egg nest nearby.

As a kid I used to have a huge fascination with spiders. The ugliest spiders imo are trapdoor spiders.
