I'm tempted to outbid Syntax on that giant lobster cat toy. Can I see more pics?
Haha. My GF lobster animal. She wouldn't be happy.

Also those aren't nerf guns, some offbrand that shoot harder than them. gf bought them and expects me not to shoot her with them -.-

I just want to know what WalMart's to check for some cheap GTX 1080's on clearance.

Okay, fine - they probably wouldn't carry that.

Better not be a damn Fry's; ain't got any nearby.

Microcenter, maybe?

Oh geez, skip to 3:05. This is going to be hilariously bad. How the heck did it get backwards. I don't know if I should cancel or get it for the LOLs.

Oh, this isn't good.

Okay, serious question, do you put the first video on mute to be able to watch it? I had to close it, could not stand that obnoxious laugh/voice. It's worse than the glitches.

Also, saw a great video about how ME:A has been ruined by the SJWs because all the women in it are ugly and they hire a minority employee who says offensive things about white people on twitter. Gotta love the world.

I still want to know the story.

And as for ME:A someone found the linked in profile for (the woman you mentioned?) Lead animation designer. I didn't look, but people were LOLing and gasping at the "below minimum qualifications" and "little to no experience". Sorry, forgot what site.

Straight up, if I won the powerball jackpot I'd buy everyone that likes this post the best video card will the most VRAMs.

Is this a test? Did he already win? Is this CAG speak for finding something that fell off the truck? Where is the like button ?

Public Service Announcement:

If you have AMD card, reverse to the older driver since the latest one breaks Nier: Automata.
Great. Just great.

And while we're at it, BF1 got updated...and now it won't boot for me. Ugh.

Black screen of death.

Not even disabling DX12 and disabling Fullscreen seems to work here in the Config files.

These yokels have been saying the same things about every Bioware product since Dragon Age 2. Pretty sure most of them graduated into full blown gamergaters. I generally try not to disregard differing opinions about games, but it gets tiresome revisiting history every other year.

BF1 Trial has ended.

That was a blast, Bro's! :)
Glad you made it in. BF1 has been one of my surprise favorites this year.

Also, we probably wouldn't have sucked as much if Syntax was there to rescue us.

And maybe if those two goddamed pro snipers weren't always on the opposing team.

So I don't remember who recommended Kingdom Rush but I hate you. It was supposed to be a simple mobile game I would play when I didn't have sound or not much time and somehow I've put close to 30 hours into it. It's pretty much the only game I've played besides csgo the past few weeks and I still have (I assume based on stars) five levels left!

I don't know which recommendation you read, but I've been singing the praises of the Kingdom series, I have bad news for you.... Kingdom Rush Frontiers is even better. :whistle2:

Don't you listen?  FOR THE LIKES. muahahaha

I mean, I would buy people cards if I won, just that I won't cause I don't play.

Where did you actually get these graphics cards? Did you win them? Not seeing any mention of price errors online.
Local BBY misprice and the Zotac is from the Amazon "deal" (1080 description but was a 1070, Amazon either sent a 1080 for the 1070 price or gave a $50 GC as an apology) I posted the other day.

Guess I could have explained sooner -.-

Has anyone played a game called Nosferatu: The Wrath of Malachi?  At the moment, it's only 99 cents on the Steam store, and it's described as a roguelike horror-themed first person shooter.  I'm considering a purchase since I have Steam credit on my account, but I was wondering if anyone can tell me whether it's worth buying if they've actually played it.  Here's a link:

Never played it, but It's been poopered dozens of times. Hell it's been free.

If you ask nicely, someone here probably has key for it that they can give you.

This was my Nosferatu mini-review from ways back:

It's not surprising that bundles are filled with dated games but it can be surprising how uneven they are in quality. Coming off the 2004 disaster above, I spent an hour with the 2003 horror FPS, Nosferatu: The Wrath of Malachi. I full expected to find a terrible game waiting for me and instead found it to be atmospheric and challenging although not unflawed.

You are a young man who has traveled to Castle Malachi for a wedding. Instead, it turns out that the lord of the castle is a vampire, all your family is in peril and you have but a few hours to save them. The blocky graphics are somewhat obscured by a film grain effect to evoke the game's namesake film and it seems to do the best with what it has. The visuals are accompanied by a fitting musical score and the whole effect is convincingly creepy. As you travel the castle grounds, you collect weapons such as a sword, wooden stakes, a powerful but single shot flintlock pistol, a crucifix (well, a cross really if you want to be technical), etc. One complaint of mine was wasted ammo on reloading -- reload your five shot revolver with 2 bullets left and those bullets are wasted. You quickly learn that some weapons are better than others against the dogs, ghouls, vampires, shadow vampires, succubi and other beasts haunting the grounds. The whole effect is somewhat marred by escort missions, enemies clipping/attacking through walls and some other relatively minor issues but, for a 2003 low-budget bundle game, I was surprised as how well it held together.

Hey, that was great. I truly got an idea of what the game was about and what it would be like to play it. I think I'm going to buy it.

Hey guys, my local Walmart had three copies of Pillars of Eternity for $7 each. They weren't marked down, they just scanned up at that price. Likewise with Titanfall 1 (PC), they had the game for $9. I should've checked the other games, but I was already in a rush at that hour. If anyone wants the games, lemme know and I can probably take a trip and send you the keys, just pay the cost of 'em plus tax. :)

Does anyone know if this is a nationwide markdown?

Man, that PoE is tempting...i don't think it's been below like 18 on steam yet.

Titanfall 1 PC is 49 48 cents at GameStop, if you can find a nearby GameStop that has one:

http://www.gamestop.com/pc/games/titanfall/110172

Might be worth checking that place, too.

None around here, though.

My backlog is too small so I'll take a key if you end up with an extra :)

I think it's been on sale for $5 on Origin or Amazon before too.
While that $5 deal is a decent price for TFall 1, 48 cents is a MUCH better deal. :p

Problem w/ the 48 cent deal is - how many GameStops are going to still have the game, given how insanely cheap that is?

Knowing GameStop, all the employees probably bought it, sold the key off, and did some other gymnastics w/ it already to earn more GameStop Power Up Points. :p

Clearance at Wally World is never nationwide, but I do think eventually it reaches that point, just in stages. Brickseek is usually the best place to check on the price, but not the inventory.

Yeah, I got it for $5 off Amazon and we bronighted it once. Was very fun, but not sure if we have enough bros to do it again.

Saturday Computer Maintenance:

Was able to switch out the fan in my V8 without removing the MOBO (installs from behind the MOBO) and was able to put back every screw but one (need to get some good magnetic tip screwdrivers). Not a crucial screw so no biggie. Like the new fan better anyway (clear LED vs old was black plastic LED).

Also switched my monitor output from HDMI to DP and hope that fixes the issue it's been having with the screen going black for a few seconds. Was doing it with another monitor so I know it's the GFX card, I just hope it's the HDMI port failing and nothing more.

A few more non-PC errands to run today, but hopefully tomorrow I will be free to put a dent in Sniper Elite 4 and Dead Rising 4.

Bros played BF1 last night. Was frustrating most of the night due to bad team-balancing, server issues, and Bah whining about it the whole night. Hoping they fix whatever issues they've had since the new patch or maps or whatever so the bros can get back to mediocrity with occasional flashes of averageness.

BF1 was a blast last night, for the hour or so my trial lasted once I got it going. MP's a blast.

Not gonna count the other hour trial of trying to get the damn thing to run - grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Hopefully, if enough Bro's get TFall1 especially this dirt-cheap at either Wally World or GameStop, then they can still grab the Free Season Pass DLC's on Origin - and we can get some TFall 1 Bro Nights going. I'd be down for that.

Especially since I'm waiting for TFall2 to drop in price.

Wasn't Titanfall free at one point? It will be amazing if there is anyone still playing. I'm playing Titanfall 2 on PS4 and it feels like i'm getting matched with the same people always.....not too many playing. The free content is not coming fast enough honestly. I'm getting bored of the same maps over and over.

Titanfall 1 Season Pass is still free:

https://www.origin.com/usa/en-us/store/titanfall/titanfall/expansion/titanfall-season-pass

You can normally add DLC's before you buy a game on Origin - so, might as well add it, if it still lets you do so.

I don't think Titanfall 1 base-game was ever "On The House."
