Anybody got any recomendations for the dungeon siege series? I've seen some of the videos but i'm wondering which one to start with...

Yeah, I'll vouch for it. It looks good, has mods, achievements, cloud, and a long-ass campaign when you include the expansion. I've got 150 hours into the Steam version.

Overall, probably a better sale for me than the last few.  I've avoided +1s since the Winter Sale, but I usually still find a way to cherry pick games I want out of bundles (thanks Tremorbro) so I really think the best way to enjoy the sale is to be ready to semi-fakeybro a few things and play them right away.  

I'll probably go ahead and pull the trigger on Lego Worlds too since Minecraft and Lego is sure to be awesome. 

 
Fractured Soul is $2 on GOG. When I say MSF is garbage as a gimmick, short but intense indie platformer, replayable for speedrunning, I point to Fractured Soul, who did it better on 3DS and also better on Steam. I strongly recommend it at that price.

I finished the Karin route of Tokyo School Life myself. On what I think about the game.....a little bit below average....maybe average. Animation is good cause of the e-mote system and you do get a little history of Japan here and there. Main guy is a bit annoying but seems like a proper Gajin who wants to see all the good stuff he saw in Manga and anime in Tokyo. Pretty short for that route....maybe 2 hours so will be 6 or so with all girls routes (will be faster so likely 4 with skipping speed). Also I liked the little cellphone conversations at the end of each day. Was cute overall and if it ever goes 75% off I would recommend it for a fast average VN.

While i'm glad more visual novels are appearing on Steam there is a bunch of average/below average ones coming, like possibly the Sakura series (these are getting better though according to real reviews not talking about fapping). I did buy Eden* this sale though, but I know that's a very highly acclaimed VN. Keep getting better lesser known VN makers.

That 1,500 player limit on the clicker game is really starting to piss me off. I can't join any decent groups because they're already full. And you can't tell which groups look promising until it's too late.

 
I did a bit of wheeling and dealing and was able to get a few things on trade cheaply, so that made it easier to spend a little bit. Expected to spend more but I couldnt do it on things like Elite Dangerous. Literally read every review on some things just to make decisions.

The ones that are promising are the ones that are using the latest script and have the fewest deadbeats/trolls in them. Use that link Spoder dropped because organized rooms are where its at.

 
I'm still being tempted by The Yawhg and Crypt of the Necrodancer. Anyone have any opinions on those? I've got a couple of casual gaming friends (mostly just Nintendo WiiU games) and I think they might enjoy the local hotseat aspects of The Yawhg. 

Almost none of my wish list dropped below 50% this time around, which made purchases pretty easy.

I went into the sale interested in GTA V, Dying Light, Divinity: OS, Pillars of Eternity, Sniper Elite 3 and half-interested in ARK as the "big games".

GTA V and ARK both did the "not-a-sale" crap, Dying Light & Divinity: OS are still too high, PoE was going to be a skip until I found it cheap enough elsewhere and sort of forgot about Sniper Elite 3.

Crypt of the Necrodancer is pretty awesome. It doesn't have a lot of variety in weaponry or items (I prefer the whip cause of the reach) but it's hard as nails and a decent amount of stuff to unlock. If you want my humble opinion I'd say it's worth 66% or more percent off. It is worth playing though. If you really want a rhythm rogue like game....play it. There is nothing quite like it. It's really fun, but I do think it's a bit shallow and maybe not enough items or skills.

I have read a lot of this thread though not all of it and surprised I didn't see anyone really talk about the Talos Principle given how much it's been gushed over.  I think I'll get it but which DLC is worth it?

I'm guessing most are waiting for 75% off or bundle. It's published by Devolver and their games are almost a lock for 75%+ off sales.

Its at 66% which is not a big deal ($6.79), but previously it had been flashed and this game only hit 50%. Its matching its historical low on Steam from February, but has been 75% off in other places. Its a decent game, but only get it now if you plan on playing it soon. It did not hit this price point when it was flashed earlier.
