As much as I liked it and sucked at it, I barely play XCOM EU/EW.

While it might be worth it for you to drop $32 or so on XCOM 2, the same likely won't be said for me.

And I've probably already neglected XCOM EU/EW too much already & need to give that way more time, as is.

Yea takes a while to get used too...but once you get it, it's like Dark Souls...you can't stop.

I get it. I'll probably regret it the first time it hits $30 and if I don't play it hardcore when it comes out. But waiting probably a year plus for it to hit 50% and watching everyone rave about how great it is seems like it will be unpleasant.

 
Big tip: None of the Desura keys are redeemed.

I actually just recently redeemed my old Humble Bundle keys going back to the first Humble Indie Bundle.

I used to just sit on the keys unless I wanted to play a game.

The thought of all the booster packs I must've missed out on...

The bros invaded Bruti's server and caused havoc!  Right now, Bruti's lifeless body is impaled on the beak of his lifeless mount on top of ARK's highest peak!  

Some of the bros are still playing, but I had to call it a night.

I had my usual night of being killed a million times before finally finding the Bro Tribe and following Headpiece (I think) on a T-Rex killing stuff to power level.  Then the bros found a lost Duke Edward, hightailed it back to the base before night where I spent the night renaming Syntax's dinos before stealing one and getting lost in the air with it.  Thankfully Shirinpitt guided me back to the base and Santa Muerte didn't die an unfortunate death a mile in the air.  

 
No winning Powerball numbers here.  I'll be slumming it at the bundle sites and grey market key sellers for the foreseeable future, it seems...

Not all bad news though, I actually had a 1 number on one of my plays this time.  FML. :whee:

Same here. I matched the powerball and two numbers so I get $7 back out of the $1000s I invested. Not the worst return on investment I'd had. Up there with GMG Mystery Boxes.

re: ARK Bro Nite

Apparently Duke pretty much hated ARK. He was real laggy and the game is poorly optimized so it ran like crap on his PC, so that probably contributed to it, but I guess he didn't enjoy the power leveling. Which I understand since I usually prefer to just roam around by myself learning stuff and dying a lot. I think last night was the first time I ever rode a flying mount since I haven't tamed any dinos myself.

I have way too much GG only stuff. I probably should start MysterDing it soon and backing it up. Last year they got confused for those misogynists who were harassing female gamers and probably hurt business. I want to root for GG, but it's hard.

 
Razer products; I have (don't currently use it anymore) a Deathadder mouse that I used for years...  Really solid, really simple, really comfortable mouse.  I really only retired it because I wanted more buttons on my mouse.  (Currently use a Logitech G700.)

I'm a "learn it myself" kind of guy myself so I get the not wanting to be powerleveled. Still, it's trivial to make a new character and undo the damage. If anyone from last night wants to continue on the server, it's always been a "Do as you want" sort of thing -- make as much use of the resources as you need or else go build a thatch hut on the beach somewhere and stab dodos with your stone spear.

Ark is terribly optimized and runs fairly poorly even on beefy systems. Supposedly, optimization is one of the final steps since each time you add content, you'd need to re-optimize. That's the stock excuse, anyway. MMOs are sort of tough for bro-nights since it's a lot of leveling up and learning how to pick apples or make pants. If everyone knew what they were doing, you could do stuff like starting all new characters on a server and trying to kill raptors with your stone axes and clubs as a team but that doesn't work when people don't even know how to pick up a rock yet.

That's where I'm at too.

I want it.

But I already have it free on PSN.

But I don't play it there.

But I won't play it on the PC either. :p

So basically, I shouldn't get it. At least until it's either bundled or MysterD's super anal 75% off rule ;) that he loves to tell everyone about.
 
The cool thing about the steam version of rocket league is that the matchmaking is crossplatform with PSN, meaning you can play with PSN people and it'll take longer for the MP to die off. Unfortunately the XBONE version won't be crossplatform, cuz you know.. XBONE sucks anyway.

Dying Light PC (steam key) boxed retail is on clearance for $11.99 at Best Buy right now. You can save the shipping by doing store pickup. Most of the stores around me have copies in stock. YMMV of course.

If you're mostly a console person who dabbles occasionally in PC and have GCU then you can knock another 20% off bringing it down to $9.60, but most of us I think aren't into paying for our discounts.
