I have been recently playing R6S and its probably one of the best FPS Shooters I have played in a long time, only thing it really needs on the PC side is for Ubisoft to give it some type of anticheat which people have been asking for a long time, this and Overwatch have been very fun to my surprise

It's actually the end of the Civil war event, but the anniversary event starts today. Every day you login for the next month you get cake slices (which also drop in game) which you can spend on assorted things, but the major items to get are a free hero ticket, free stash tab and the two teamups.

It's funny to us that this publisher pulled this crap one day after he himself released a space shooter on to Steam yesterday.....but that's the glorious all friendly world of Indie Devs.

For what it's worth, the only reason to get this is to +1 DLC and say you own it. As an actual expansion to Mafia II, it's pretty terrible if you're expecting narrative-based play similar to the core game. Bunch of driving time trials and junk.

More like the Steam card challenge.

List 1 card on day 1, 2 cards on day 2, 3 cards on day 3, and after a year, you might have enough to buy Bad Rats at 90% off.

The real question here is how long it takes to list 365 cards on the last day when you have to confirm each one.

It took me 4.5 hours to list 500 manually including lookup for sell orders so i didn't have to wait for them to sell. It was not worth bothering but the lesson that i don't value my time was worth it's weight in gold.

 
My philosophy: Don't buy shitty games you never play and you don't have to worry about idling/listing a hundred cards worth two cents each.

A few days ago I mentioned that I wished there was a greasemonkey script that just added buttons to join/leave groups and stuff for gleam giveaways but didn't auto-complete anything.

Well, it does exist, so that's cool.

Well use the damned Desktop Auth or Win Auth programs for one thing, duh.

It doesn't take me long but I don't let them pile up I have Archi running all the time and put those cards up for sale at the lowest price or 1 cent lower as soon as I get them. Then every few days or so I check and see what didn't sell and relist them lower. It's usually not much.

The main thing is to keep up on them don't let them pile up and use an auto authenticating program so you don't have to click the damned phone 100 times.

That's not even worth it. I just use Steam Inventory Helper to list them all at the lowest price and remove and re-do if they don't sell in a few weeks.

Reddit says SIH is the devil or something now. They all put their tinfoil hats on because the dude who made it turned it over to some other group without telling anyone or something so they freaked out because it violated their EU rights or some crap. I don't know, it's Reddit.

. . . but I'm not sure I'd bother because of what Syntax said. This was the general critical consensus around the time people were still playing Mafia II hoarding digital copies of old Playboy pinups. That's why I only have Joe's Adventure, and I don't think I even finished that one because I got stuck on some irritating mission.

These are some shady assholes. First, they sell bundles where you don't even get games--no Steam keys, no itch.io keys, not even any DRM-free downloads--and now they're replacing greenlit games with garbage games everyone owns already.

I vote to boycott OtakuMaker. Not trustworthy or reputable enough to warrant purchases. Their bundle games will all be on Groupees or IG anyway.

 
So bros, what's the new conventional wisdom for Steam sales?

It always used to be, WAIT FOR THE BIG SALE ONLY BUY ON FLASH OR DAILY!

But that's obviously not true anymore.

Wondering with stuff like Lakeview Cabin Collection.  60% off right now.  Will it hit that or lower during the sale?  Will it not?  Should I buy now and not risk a lower discount?  Should I wait and see?  I know, wait for bundle, but still all this bad sale business makes it so hard to buy stuff.

Well crap, I have already via Poopees. I even took a moment to check Steam and see if I had it there or not but I didn't. I didn't think to check Poopees too.

Speaking of Poopees, I have a Kabits key there now. So if Poopees can get keys for it then that Otakumaker ESL Frog can too.

NM that game was Klabi and this is Kabits meh we can't check every name and it's only the DRM downloads updated anyway ewww.
