I will not be updating every Daily/Weekly/etc. sale. The tools to help individuals become a smarter shopper will be provided below.

I know there are good games in the backlog. I just need to figure them out. I got so many random junk bundled and other stuff over the years that I want to see if there is some gold in there. I'm prone to throw away these games since time is limited, but I want to give them a fair chance. There is about nearly 2000 games I threw out of the backlog already as they're junk bundle games, so I have about 3500+ to go I think haha.

Grabbed Jurassic World Evolution 2 on Humble for $33 and change (w/ Humble Choice discount). Seemed like a decent price, haven’t really seen it on sale since release last month.

Yeah, I heard it’s more like a refined version of the first game than a true sequel. I look at it this way, the only thing that’s getting future updates now will be JPE 2, so I’ll bite for ~$30. Didn’t seem worth it at $60 … and I also know the recent Humble Choice Bundles have been so bad that this won’t show up until 2023 😉

Yeah I was exaggerating......it will be in the February Bundle!

On a serious note, it may not be bundled within the next 6 months, but I am confident it will be eventually since the first one was.

may i ask what your process is? do you weed out the crap as soon as you buy the bundle, or wait to do it en masse? what is your criteria for what is bundle fodder and whatnot? i kinda wanna do the same myself, but the task seems daunting.

 
Holy crap, I just noticed they have ALMOST anatomically accurate wrists for the Tyrannosaur in Evolution 2. They're actually turned somewhat inwards like an actual theropod's wrists would be. The hands are still wrong, among other problems, but this is the first time I've seen a Jurassic Park theropod without fully pronated hands! Progress!

I weed it out now before redeeming keys, such as I still get Indiegala bundles. I did it manually honestly. Now I try to categorize right away and try not to get poop games. Clicking on game link or searching and looking up their reviews on Steam is the quickest way for some more unknown games. It took a while.

Geez … the Game Awards keep throwing out random codes … anyone actually get anything decent?

I already gave up after realizing my WiFi is on a slight delay and Wario’s tweets keep ruining all the big announcements 😉

It took me too long to realize they were meant to be redeemed on Microsoft instead of Bethesda launcher for the first set and the second set all the codes were redeemed by the time I put them in. :(

 
Total bullshit that Final Fantasy beat out Fortnite for best ongoing game … Fortnite has been killing it lately, most innovative game of its type …

The sequel I never thought would happen... I had always hoped for a direct sequel were we see Titus become a member of Deathwatch but I'll take anything at this point.


Anyhow, I don't want to wait an extra year but if its epic I will... Hell, I'll likely still be stuck with a 970x so I might need the extra year anyways.

Gears Tactics is great. I could burn some bread write a toaster length review on it, buts it's good fun.

And you can take dudes from cannon fodder to cheese master supremes, a satisfying feeling for me in these style of games.

Looks and sounds great, too, but Gears always had.

Funny thing, I was surfing on my phone at work this morning, and I happened to log into itch.io to discover that this bundle was going end in 5 minutes. I bought the bundle sight unseen, checked the games when I got home, regretted it for a few minutes and then thought that I got a deal because I got a DRM-free download of Neurovoider.
