Can confirm Ninja Gaiden Master Collection will be in Humble Choice tomorrow, I broke down and bought it.
Have you played it for more than two hours? If not... I would wait till we know what the monthly titles will be.

Just pooping in to say that I finally played Disco Elysium recently and that it is one of the best games I've ever played. Definitely try to redeem it asap if anyone ever drops a key here.
Are we expecting keys to drop?

Fanatical has a refund policy of 2 weeks if you haven't revealed the key. But one time I bought a platinum bundle and didn't realize one of the games I choose had been bundled already (so I owned it). I contacted them and asked if I could switch it with a different game but they gave me a refund instead. I had revealed the key so I wasn't expecting a refund. My guess is they're pretty lenient with refunds, but I've never contacted them outside of that experience

Disco is fantastic and great. It's one of the best CRPG's of the Planescape: Torment (PST) type since...well, probably PST. The prose, writing, character development, and whatnot is fantastic here.

And there's not much combat here in Disco either, especially since most is really just decisions handled by stats/skills in dialogue trees and not handled w/ actual combat mechanics.

Planescape: Torment's combat was fine mind you, but the fact that it's there and that you can still run into it, when it ain't as deep or as spectacular as other CRPG's - yeah, PST's combat just ain't as great as combat in say the BG series. Disco was really smart w/ the way it handled combat in dialogue trees and as real stat/skill/item checks.

I actually just picked up Planescape and a few more narrative-driven RPGs in the summer sale. I feel like I'm starting to appreciate those kinds of games more. Plus, my life is going to utterly fall to pieces in a few weeks when we welcome our second child into the world so it will be good to have some slower-paced RPGs to escape to when I want to completely disassociate from reality.

Any haul lists? I'm compiling up my cart and I'm likely purchasing tomorrow. For now it has Hitman Go in it only hah.
I haven't bought anything from steam. I did buy Super Monkey Ball Mania Deluxe from Humble which seemed like a decent deal (Still over a day left on the sale). Also bought Fatal Frame for $17 and Blue Reflection Second Light Deluxe for $25 from a dude on gameflip. Not an impressive haul, but I thought they were decent deals.

I only bought Yumeutsutsu Re:After and Ninja Gaiden Master Collection Deluxe on Fanatical with the 10% coupon from Reventure, they were both historical lows with that applied. Also got Automachef as my spend more than $10 free mystery key, which I don’t think I already owned? I don’t remember if that’s one of the cooking ones everyone likes or not, they all bleed together in my mind.

Is the DLC for Deep Rock Galactic worth it? The humble choice this month comes with the game and a coupon for 65% off a bundle of all the DLC, bringing it down to $25.xx

They're all cosmetic, armors/weapon skins I believe and the soundtrack.

None yet, but looking at Space Haven, Potion Craft, and Slipways. Hesitating because two of them are only 30% off, and one of them has been in a bundle before.

The two space ones also could be extremely boring, but I'm looking for some sort of puzzle-esque game like them.

Had quite a few I've been debating on, but have only purchased GreedFall and ACIV....have had a hankering for pirate gameplay after getting back into Sea of Thieves....and preparing for disappointment for Skull and Bones :|

Nothing from Steam yet.

Likely will buy this HC soon for all the games in there, especially ATOM RPG Trudograd.

And then will complete that bundle on Steam and buy ATOM RPG (original).

My haul:
Dragon’s Dogma Dark Arisen
Mass Effect Legendary Edition
Mass Effect Andromeda Deluxe Edition(for completion)
Armikrog
Dragon Age Origins Ultimate Edition
Dragon Age 2 Ultimate Edition
Dragon Age Inquisition GOTY Edition
Dread XP Publisher Bundle
Metal Gear Solid V The Phantom Pain Definitive Edition
Deus Ex Mankind Divided Digital Deluxe

My only purchase on Steam itself was Mirror 2: Project X. It's a horny Chinese match 3 game, but hey it was a bit more than a dollar and it looks pretty nice. Only real bad thing about it is handling the shame of buying a horny Chinese match 3 game.

Keys elsewhere were:

River City Girls

Escapists 2

Barotrauma

Persona 5 Strikers Deluxe

Rage 2

We Happy Few

Risk of Rain 2

Fallout 76

Dead by Daylight Silent Hill Edition(price error on GMG)

Humble Choice June

Cuphead DLC

What was the price for DBD silent hill edition? First I've heard that there was a price error

I ended up getting way more than I expected to! From Steam:

The Dishwasher Vampire Smile

Charlie Murder

Rise Of Insanity

25th Ward: The Silver Case (Deluxe Edition)

Gray Dawn

Deadly Premonition Directors Cut

Sherlock Holmes vs. Jack The Ripper

The Testament of Sherlock Holmes

Definitely Sneaky But Not Sneaky

Then from Fanatical / GMG I ended up getting:

Port Royale 4 (thanks price glitch)

Insurgency Sandstorm (thanks price glitch)

Styx Master of Shadows

Tropico 4

Port Royale 3 Gold Edition

Yakuza 0

God's Trigger

Prey (complete edition)

I was considering getting either Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 or Ghost Warrior Contracts also but now I'm starting to think I got too many games lol

I had Titan Chaser on my wish list and it was a buck so bought it.  Everything else on my wish list failed to spark any consumer frenzy.

Besides that, I went to Steamdb, filtered for games with under 20 reviews for under $2 and from there used some card money to buy:

Blindia
Rainy Day Racer
Help! I am REALLY horny!
Invention 3
Beautycopter
Social Moth
Enemy Remains
Disquiet Fields

This shouldn't be construed as a recommendation that anyone follow my lead.

Got my steam deck -- died 3 days later :( RMA process started.  I really like the device and bought some stuff from the summer sale for it (for the king, xcom chimera, darkest dungeon) ... oh well it's been this long guess waiting a little longer (has anybody been through an RMA? if so how long did it take and did you get new/refurbished/fix steam deck back?)

Nice catch. I like match 3 games, so I'll give it a try.

Also picked up Muse Dash for $.53 and Pogostuck for $4.54. Supposedly it is crazy difficult, but pogosticking in a video game brings back fond memories of NES Duck Tales ^^;

-Update- Pogostuck is hard.

Welcome. Today is the last day of the steam summer sale. You should make a wishlist on steam and then check out gg.deals and create an account to import your wishlist. Then you can see price comparisons historically and get emails when they go on sale.

Thanks Friend. Noted. I saw the steam summer sale but I didn't really see anything for "dirt cheap" that amazed me. I setup PS5 streaming and have quite a backlog of switch/ps5 games so I'll be busy for awhile on or off the deck. Also have some games on Prime Gaming and keeping an eye on Epic Game store to get some freebies. Will have to figure out how to install those, but I'm relatively savvy.

The only thing I picked up that I figured "grab now while real cheap" is portal 2. I think I tried to buy portal 2 only for 2$, and somehow wound up buying portal 1 & 2 for $3. Oh well...its just a buck. I played through 1 a few years ago, but never played 2.

I read this as "We're taking away a single-player game from people who have already purchased it" and I must be an idiot because Ubisoft couldn't possibly be *that* awful.

...

Right?
If you own it on Steam or Uplay - you might wanna download it ASAP...b/c I also read that as such.

I actually got AC Lib HD: Old version (Uplay-only version) going.

Besides following all these steps here - I also had to use DGVoodoo & set that up just to get it going though, as I had DirectX issues causing it to crash right after it booted.

EDIT - Also would not surprise me that Ubi don't care about old versions of AC3 and AC Liberation HD b/c they are trying to up-sell everyone to that AC3 Remastered Collection on Steam, Uplay, etc - in which that AC3R Collection has both AC3 Complete Edition Remaster & AC Liberation HD Remaster. Also, they could be trying to upsell gamers to buy AC: Odyssey Gold/Ultimate or AC: Odyssey Season Pass (since AC3R and AC:Lib HD Remaster is in AC: Odyssey's Season Pass/Gold/Ultimate Editions).

My lengthy haul list:

Space Raiders in Space - some kind of TD game. Love those. Looked funnish.

Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order - EA looked like they were hurting for cash, so I gave them some.

$12 or so total. As has been pointed out, I feel no remorse as all of these prices will happen again and again.

I loved Hitman Go. It's a great puzzle game.

Here's the actual impact of the changes on Sept. 1 2022.

I told myself I wasn't going to buy anything, but I got my annual bonus this week and cleaned up my wishlist. My haul:

You could tell by the time we got to the plot of Metal Gear Solid 2 that the franchise has become a breeding ground for terrorists … /s

Use Heroic Games Launcher to play your EPIC and GOG games. Don't forget about Heroic Bash Launcher as well to automatically integrate those games into the Steam OS under "non-steam games" to get the artwork imported.

Played some Pogostuck. The pain is real. It controls well with an Xbox controller, so my failure is strictly a combination of difficult terrain and my own inexperience.
