As a previous console player, I only bought 1-2 games a month and played them to completion. At $20 I thought they were a steal. I joined Steam in March and my backlog is already 50+ games and I keep adding more from Humble Bundles. If I actually went back to only buying games I'd play to completion I think it would take me over a year to get the same collection I have from Steam. I thought switching to Steam would save me money, but I find I buy so many games since they are only a dollar or two I've actually doubled my spending lol.

$5 is a decent price for it. I played through it on the 360 and picked it up again on Steam with the $5 EC on Amazon when it was packaged with Inversion since it was cheaper to get the whole package again (plus another game) than just get the DLC on the 360.

Enslaved is a very solid, very pretty (at the time) action platformer. The story is yet another take on The Journey West, but entertaining enough well acted by Andy Serkis. The collect-a-thon that can sometimes hamper games like this is there (find all the red balls for cheevos) but generally doesn't get in the way too much. There's not a ton to it, but it did hold my attention long enough for me to finish it and that's a pretty big achievement for games these days. On the whole if you need the cheapest price possible, $5 isn't particularly amazing, however, the game itself I'd say is worth the $5 and the 10-ish hours of your time.

Totally missed Plague Inc. was one of the dailies, probably do to being a shitty 33% off and all but still. That was pretty fun mobile game, reminded me a lot of, a much better version of, one of those old flash games with a similar premise. I liked it and think it is worth $5, but if you aren't going to play it soon you should probably wait. It seems like the sort of game that could go lower. Of course, lately Steam has been really bad about repeating prices. /still bitter about DmC

I actually own it on PS3 and played through it once. That's why I'm a bit reluctant on picking it up at anything, but dirt cheap. I never got around to playing the DLC or "100%" the main game so there is enough replay value to own it again. Then again, it'll most likely sit in my backlog for months on end. Meanwhile it'll go on sale at the same price some time down the line. Maybe an even better offer will pop up. Logic says to wait on a purchase, but hoarding games has nothing to do with logic....

I'm not too crazy about Defy Gravity. It feels like an old Klick and Play game....alright gimmick with the gravity gun thing, but just ok. I got up to the part where I became a master gravitation guy and the level after I couldn't get the jumps correct. I earned my cards and hope they sell, but I wouldn't recommend it. I'm not too crazy about Defy Gravity. It feels like an old Klick and Play game....alright gimmick with the gravity gun thing, but just ok. I got up to the part where I became a master gravitation guy and the level after I couldn't get the jumps correct. I earned my cards and hope they sell, but I wouldn't recommend it. Feels cheap and if not for cards....yeah just don't bother.

I wasn't a huge fan of Skyrim, but after watching some Skyrim porn, I'm definitely gonna pick it up while it's on sale.

All the newbies need to know is this:

1. Idle for Steam cards
2. Sell Steam cards
3. Use money to buy games, preferably ones with Steam cards
4. (Most importantly) Undercut spoder by a penny on everything
