They were around 10 cents each when the sale started, now they're at 13 cents.

I managed to luck out and find a guy that was selling 35 cards for a CS GO key. I bought about 90 cards off him to level up my alts, he was really happy to be able to get rid of all those CS GO cards - and make a profit from them, too.

Most every card is going to keep raising their price maybe just a little bit.

As Motoki said, the cs go cards have doubled their price in 2 days or so. Well, they were extremely cheap before.

100% Orange Juice looks interesting, but I will wait for the Board Game Flash Sale, with Ticket to Ride, Talisman Deluxe, and Blood Bowl..

The set was thirty something sense on average when the sale started though and now it's like 60 something cents and I've seen it peak above 70. So it has gone up quite a bit. Still the cheapest but not the cheapest by a wide margin anymore.

 
Speaking of trading card idleing. I have been idleing games all weekend making pretty pennies selling summer adv cards.

I've been using SAM, but some games are not showing up in SAM, any reason why?

The worst was counting the bank as four heists, when the only difference was how fast you could run with the bags. I still kept playing until they added the experience penalty that could randomly show up on you when you weren't the host. It's like they made a pretty good game and then worked hard to keep making it worse.

SAM is only for achievements and its creator has no interest in adding games without achievements so people can idle them.

That said, you can manually do it. Just add the game's Steam app # in the box up top and hit add game.

The thing to realize with cards is that just because someone is selling a card at a high price doesn't mean anyone is buying. Those games with high card prices probably don't have a lot of people buying if any, which means you'll most likely get undercut and the price will probably come down as more and more people discover it's going for a high price. Meanwhile no one is still buying.

I'm not saying don't try and sell if you've got the game but absolutely don't buy a game just for card prices, especially if the card prices seem abnormally high. Unless you're Spoder and have an ungodly talent for finding the one person insane and impatient enough to pay those prices while also having the time to sit around and make sure he doesn't get undercut, you probably aren't going to get those prices.

So I'm in the middle of a 100% Orange Juice game and want to quit for a while. Can I do that? I see the option to Retire, but will that make me lose all the progress on the board?

 
Something tells me early Bloodrayne cards may go for 20-30 cents for the first comers only....only places I see people buying really expensive cards are games like Agarest Wars and Agarest Wars Zero (Waifus obviously) and possibly very new card games. If I was selling Bloodrayne cards I would undercut the top seller so much he would just cry and say damn you nitromob!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Then he would likely just die...maybe physically but emotionally he will have a void so deep...all that can fill it is tears.

Unfortunately I don't believe you can save a game in progress. You must either win, lose or quit.

Pretty much why I only play at the fastest speed anymore.

Yeah, I see now that there are only a few sales. Also, my Heileen foil I got a week ago isn't selling. I've undercut the competition down to 3 bucks, but we just keep going lower over the last week.

I think people praising Overkill for putting out the "free dlc" haven't actually played the game. If you actually played the game for longer than an hour you'd realize the base game when it launched had like, maybe 6-7 unique maps? Which was less than the first game. Overkill promised 40-50 new heists with this game and they launched with 6-7 maps, and then recycle those so that you rob a bank once for cash, and then you rob that same exact bank again for gold, and you're supposed to count as seperate heists? Yeah, no. So they added "free maps" that they promised would have been in the game in the first place. Real "generous" of them, eh? Also both weapon pack DLCs are complete crap, both grenades and knives suck ass and the added guns aren't that much better than the default ones. Sniper might be worth it if you like sniping, I heard mod courier is good because it shortens your mod grind time (omg pay to shorten the grind? who'd have thought?) 

That said, I will buy both sniper and mod courier, because.. I don't know, I'm a masochist and GabenBux?

 
I already got Monaco and have friends wanting to play...is there room for Payday 2 in my life? Also....likely will be getting Battlefield Hardline because if I don't one of my friends will get the Battlefeels.

I haven't played it but I'm going to go out on a limb and say the game is like a racing game. Just a gut feeling though.

But in all seriousness Metacritic gives the pc version an 80 out of 100, and the user score is 5.6 out of 10. Seems like the few negative comments are mainly it not being like grid 1 and not the game being non functional.
 
You know what I hate about Steam sales .... it actually makes me go through all the bundle sites and put all the keys in that I don't remember I already own  :headache:.

I fall way too far behind keeping up with that stuff. So far I'm at around 30 or so games that I have put in. Now it seems that Steam has a limit on the number of keys you can redeem at one time so its taking even longer. 

I know some people don't like it, but I wish all sites used the Steam Link redemption that shows what account the keys was redeemed on or that it was emailed as a gift.

Thank goodness for Groupees adding the checkbox to mark a code as used, though they added it too late in the game to save most of us. I've bought three bundles at a time from them and often can't tell if I've never gotten around to activating a complete bundle or if keys were added later.

are the two Buried at Sea episodes for Bioshock Infinite worth $10? I thought the main game was just decent (I wasn't crazy about it) but I'm willing to play more if the episodes are fairly substantial.

episode one is really "meh," and is more a set up for episode 2 than anything. the gameplay in one is more of the same. episode two you play as elizabeth and it's really stealth oriented...a few of the new plasmids made it way too easy, but it was fun to play a bioshock game with a completely different playstyle than was previously established. i think it's probably worth ten bucks.

also, the story, while interesting, i thought the twist at the end was kind of predictable by the time you get to it

I think they're worth $10 even I still have no time to play those episodes yet, but you may wait till it's $5.

I liked shadowrun a lot. Of course I used to play the P&P RPG back when that first came out. If you like turn-based strategy games with an interesting setting I recommend it at this price. There are quite a very decent few user-created campaigns as well - including someone who is re-making the old NES game in this one (steam workshop makes finding all these very easy). All that said, if you're not going to play it soon you may be able to get the game & the (better) Dragonfall DLC campaign cheaper next sale. But you're definitely not throwing money away at it at this price IMO.

I will add that if you're expecting a fast paced game, this isn't really it. Not to say some of the battles aren't exciting, but they seem a little slow-ish sometimes.

I bought it from Amazon for $5 a while back & started playing it this week.. Only about 6.5 hours in, but still in the 'tutorial'. They're still slowly teaching me things I knew from the other games & I am still not actually playing ACIII's main protagonist Connor. I'm not saying it isn't good or fun, but I was annoyed when I climbed up to the top of a huge building to survey the land and my map didn't update since I hadn't gotten to that portion of the tutorial yet. :wall:

My recommendation to others is, if they play it, don't get sidetracked with all the things you can do in the game at first, wait until the tutorial section is over. My recommendation to you, if all my readings of your posts can be believed, is that you won't like it. :D/

I enjoyed the game as well, and also used to enjoy the P&P version back in the day. That said, my party at the end was simply not the proper composition to have any sort of chance of winning the final battle, so I gave up on it. I'll probably play through Dragonfall and some of the Workshop stuff next week. I'd agree with the assessment that if you are wanting to play a Tactical RPG right now, this is a good price point for a good game.

I guess red lived up to their name and recruited some Chinese slaves as well.

This whole thing, like pretty much everything Valve does, was not well thought out.

I'd say they should randomize the teams people get on differently every day and make it so that it only counts the number of people who did any crafting at all, but then they wouldn't encourage insane amounts of crafting and ridiculously high team token selling which is what's getting them a ton of money right now. It sure it's from making games.

It's rigged. Each day different team wins to boost morale and get more crafting during next days.

Might need to craft a badge to enter.
