Not one person has mentioned that Age Of Wonders III is a potential 50% off in the community vote. It probably won't win, but it means we can at least hope for a flash or daily spot down the line at 50%. I'd resigned myself to a 33% or 40% discount.

Three days in, I'm convinced the daily team points are pure bullshit.  Red team gets smoked day one.  Hey, look who wins the next day.  Green team gets next to last on day two, just barely above the blue team.  Suddenly the green team has all the chinese slave labor?  The beauty of it is that no one can verify any of the numbers.  They just throw some bullshit counters up and let them roll.  Based on current standings, I'm going to guess blue team wins tomorrow.  Don't worry, pink team, you'll get to win in two days.

Yeah, I bought Season One at launch. The game is great, but my biggest issue with it is no Steam Leaderboard support. I remember playing it not to long ago and it still didn't have it. Considering high scores are part of the fun of pinball, it kind of killed my enjoyment of the game.

I was just about to post something much like this. Pretty strange for Green to go from barely out of last on day 2 to leading by almost a third more votes than second place. Green did finish second on day 1 though. I'm not going to complain one bit considering I'm on team Green. :)

 
It could simply mean that green team was discouraged by the lead red and purple had yesterday and saved up their badges and tokens for today. Red meanwhile probably blew everything they had in the final hours of yesterday (purple was winning when I went to sleep).

To be honest,

This sale has been kinda a let down so far.  Either it's stuff I would never buy (the 80000x zombie wannabes) or stuff that I wouldn't touch with a stick (these "greenlit"/"early access" games).  AoWIII perked my interest but at 50%? (as a vote) I dunno.

Debating the Deponia trilogy but it sounds like the main character is an ass so that's disturbing.

One of the pinball junkies on my activity feed mentioned a day or two ago that Pinball Arcade finally got some sort of leaderboard functioning. It might be through a Farsight account though. They're definitely more interested reproducing tables than expanding the community aspects.

While I appreciate their efforts (I grew up playing a Taxi table at Shakey's that, over the years, slowly lost flipper power on the right side, forcing me to "gently encourage" the pinball to the opposite side of the table), i'm now hooked on the more outlandish stuff to be had in FX2/Zen.

Mildly related, a buddy of mine found a copy of Austin Powers Pinball (the 2000 version) the other day. Currently trying to get that crap to work on a modern computer.

real pinball table don't have low resolution graphics printed on them, these pinball tables from farshit are a disgrace to the artists that created them. Sorry for the rant, but they really pissed me off.

 
I bought Watch Dogs from G2A.com back when they had it for 50% off and all went fine.  Received it on launch day, key worked fine, all good.

They are running a sale for Breakthrough DLC + 3 bonus packs (costumes, weapons) Global key for $2.71.  Bought it, received my key... Activates for Watch Dogs Limited Asia Edition :roll:

Thank God Uplay actually says "Hey, this key is for this game.  You wanna activate it?" instead of Steam's "YOLO!" key activation policy.

It was $7.99 before it got on Steam and then I got a Steam key afterwards. Seemed like a silly thing to do at the time, but one of the few that worked out. I assume the people who kickstarted Wasteland 2 for $15 probably feel the same way.

Game is far from finished though and very similar to Dead State in terms of development. They should have tons of money by now, but who knows what is going on. I do remember them losing their computers...lol...

 
Wonder how likely it'll be that Rocksmith 2014 will wind up as a daily? It's a flash now, but the price of the original and the DLC packs remain the same. This is a valid concern. Looking at the screenshots, you might expect an experience akin to The Curse of Monkey Island due to wonderfully similar graphics and style, but then you'll be disappointed by the fact that the PC deserves to have his ass beaten by everyone he encounters. Guybrush Threepwood he ain't.

If you go into it knowing that the guy's an irredeemable jerk, you should be fine with it. Maybe.

I feel as though by sometime in 2015 Shadowrun Returns, Wasteland 2, The Banner Saga and probably Torment: Tides of Numenara will all turn up in bundles (no, that weird-ass Humble with TBS at $15 doesn't count). And by 2016 I may have cleared enough of my backlog to play one of them.

Game is far from finished though and very similar to Dead State in terms of development. They should have tons of money by now, but who knows what is going on. I do remember them losing their computers...lol...

Not naming names, but it amuses me that the same people who complain about the great injustice it is to base-game purchasers when it's cheaper to buy complete packs compared to the DLC piecemeal... will also declare how ridiculous it is when buying all of the pieces separately comes to a penny less than the complete package price.

Yes, I get it, the ideal is a middle-ground where all of the DLC can be purchased for less than the complete package with the difference not exceeding the price of the base game, but it just seems like some people can never be pleased.

And I'll admit that I'm also waiting for the right time to get the two Skyrim DLC I'm lacking.  I actually got the complete Elder Scrolls series on Black Friday, but we activated it to my wife's account since I already had Morrowind and Oblivion on mine.  I should probably just Family Share the Skyrim content from her.  That works with DLC, right?

 
 Zombie games are flooding in right now.

Meanwhile, some of us can't get a Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines remake/sequel no matter how much we beg and plead.
