I wouldn't say Marvel is hands down the best. It's hard to call it worse than another Lego game, but I was disappointed with multiple things in it.

1. They only featured the popular movie heroes. I love Marvel because of the variety of characters in the franchise. Just getting a bunch of Iron-Man and Captain America and whatnot was kind of a snore. A missed opportunity, really, because the story was a Lego original, and they could have incorporated more characters.

2. The levels were extremely "busy". Yes, they were still put together well, but they were overdone in my opinion. Lego Star Wars is still probably my favorite Lego game (mostly just because I'm a Star Wars nerd), and a big reason behind that is the level design. It found a balance between crazy and simple, which I found to be lacking in Marvel.

All that said, I'm not saying Marvel isn't the best Lego game, but it's just not better in every way. A big Star Wars or LotR fan could easily say otherwise.

Then again, I think the Naruto deal was from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. , so maybe there isn't a decent enough pattern to notice.

Get it at GMG when it's $5 again. The GMG version is actually the complete collection that's currently listed on Steam, the product info is just wrong on the webpage for some reason (which is why the MSRP and sale price get so low compared to other places).

Source: I bought it from there a month ago and it came with the base game and all the DLC released on Steam except the Ninth Element Novel which was never included.

The only reason the Can't Stop Laughing bundle is cheaper now than it was when just Battleblock was featured, is because Behemoth decided to apply a new discount to coincide with Castle Crashers featured sale discount. There are so few instances where this could happen that I don't think it's fair to say the red letter rule has been completely broken, and it would be unwise to pass on deals thinking this is something that's going to regularly happen (really the only way it can is if two games from a pack both get featured at the same time with different discounts, and the pack gets the larger discount, which up until now I don't think has ever happened).

Bobby already mentioned you can get it cheaper elsewhere, but Magicka is actually a pretty awesome game despite that it's an inside joke around here because of how often it goes on sale. I'd recommend it.

Yeah, I've enjoyed what I've played of it so far, but it's definitely one of those games you'll enjoy a lot more if you have friends to play co-op with (supports 4-player co-op), as there aren't a lot of random people to play with online that I've seen.

Easily worth $5 for all the content, can't say if it's worth $10.

Sequel's on its way out too, it's already been confirmed for PS4 and PC.

Hey, don't knock it. A Thousand Years of Pain was instrumental in defeating Gaara of the desert. Granted, he used an exploding kunai, but that's just semantics.

It's a cool game, and it appeals to the space nerd in me. The tech tree is fucking massive, and really cool since it works towards different technologies to further develops all types of planets. At the beginning of the game, that volcanic planet may be completely useless to you, but after massive tech improvements, it becomes really useful. Same goes for most planetary types, as long as you research the correct technologies.

Also, the writing is great. The little snippets of info and comments about different random planetary traits (which can be good or bad) are really well done. All in all, just a really great game.

The first series is a lot more lighthearted like that in contrast to the more serious, action-y Shippuden, which is why you can easily be a fan of one series but dislike the other.

It's why I'm not embarrassed to say that I like Shippuden a lot.

I like both. I find there's nothing wrong with having a sense of humor. Taking things too seriously just makes you into a cold hearted asshole. I was a bit too close to that once. It wasn't fun and only lead me to hate myself and everyone around me.
