You must launch it from Steam. Ubisoft has done previously locks after release, but removed.

Only way you'd get banned is if you use a VPN to buy it/activate it after the fact and they catch you.

Worst case scenario is if a non-Russian gets it and it was traded for, the game gets locked and you're out whatever you paid for it. They won't ban you for trading for it. Its their fault it wasn't locked in the first place.

I paid a key for it, so in the event that they decide to retroactively region lock it, I consider it a small risk. In the meantime, Im going to play it so I can hopefully finish it before any action on those of us who have gotten it is taken.

On topic, I can verify the xbox one rumble works properly. I really like the controller over the xbox 360 for games that heavily use the d-pad (tested with skull girls)

BioShock Infinite was my least favorite game in the series. As beautiful as Columbia is to look at, it just didn't capture my attention the way that Rapture did. I liked the darkness and the foreboding feeling you constantly carried about with you. Columbia is just too cheerful.

The gameplay was also weaker, imo. The enemies rarely seem dangerous and there's more focus on shooting and less on exploration and plasmids. I also thought the story was a bit convoluted and overrated.

The DLC, on the other hand was much better. Well, the story DLC anyway; the arena DLC wasn't at all what the series needed. You definitely want to play the DLC if you liked the first two games.

The CAG answer is no... wait for a better price on the game+DLC. At the very least $9.99 for both, but $7.49 or even $4.99 isn't out of the question if you look at how 2k has priced the series historically.

I feel pretty much the same about Infinite. I really enjoyed Bioshock 1 & 2, and even beat 1 twice (extremely rare I finish a game more than once). The combat in Infinite was boring for me and I didn't get into the story like a lot of other people did. I still need to play the Buried at Sea DLC though.

The price will definitely drop to $10 and less, but $15 isn't a bad deal. Just depends how much of a fan of the franchise you are. I paid full price for the game, but got in on the Amazon PCDD preorder deal (bunch of credits. For me the bundle is worth $20. ;-)

It is expensive considering it started around 2 bucks. I say pass unless you really want these. I think Rock Zombie looks cool (maybe worth 1-2) and I like visual novels so Blue Rose looks ok....lot of average looking stuff IMHO.

I just got the Bioshock Triple Pack for $10.19.  I'm glad I waited and didn't buy it when it was $14.99.  I love the Bioshock games (especially 1 and 2) and $10 is more than a bargain for all 3 games.

Latest understanding is Reddits attempt to rig the system was changed when valve updated 2nd and 3rd place prizes. There was a system in plave for everyteam to win once. Now it looks like it may turn to be RED team to win everyday.

I'm super disappointed in the bio shock infinite deal... on 50% off for the season pass.

Yeah after hearing a few people talk about it, I decided why not. So I go to the steam store page of Endless Space and am greeted with the message "You already own this game". I have no recollection of ever buying it, lol.

I decided to investigate and apparently I bought it on Dec. 25th, 2013 along with Disharmony for $8.74.

Yep. Ditto. Went for the DLC and it said I randomly bought that already too. Had to be during the Winter sale.

Ubi's on my crap list, as is. With never being able to connect to SC: BlackList for its online-content, yet I could connect to UPlay - yeah, not happy w/ them. Worst off - that game keep crashing approx. every 23 minutes - probably some damn DRM-check was kicking it; that's a major party foul, if you ask me.

I also could never connect to their game-servers w/ GR: Future Soldier PC + SC: Conviction, either.

The PC requirements better not be insane, if they ain't gonna push it to the max on the PC.

Division better run at 60 FPS w/ no major framerates dips or anything.

This still won't change how I treat an online-only game + how I feel about most games anyways:

75% off or bust...especially if backlogging.

Why are you disappointed about that? Seems like a decent price to me.

 
I'm sort of amused at how people were concerned that after purple's second allotted win they would "betray the pact" and start trying to win every day, but red is the team that has been in the lead ever since the rules changed. I think that day 1 win has really lingered in people's minds to an unnecessary degree.

I got curious and checked out the reddit thread to see if they were going to try and adapt the schedule to the new rules somehow and saw a ton of people complaining about reddit "ruining the fun of the competition". I also found this to be amusing. The teams thing is kind of cute, but you "win" by throwing the most money at Valve. The "competition" is stupid.

As for the sales, zzzzzzz. I'll pick up Banner Saga just because I want it and only didn't get it on release because of circumstance, but I swear a lot of this other stuff has been cheaper before.

Those reddit people are insane.  I saw some people say that they had spent hundreds of dollars on gaining/stealing points.  Heck, they could have bought three 50 dollar games and still have been ahead.  One of us could probably have added a huge chunk of games to our collections for what they are spending for a tiny shot at 3 free games.
