Where do people get these AAA games so cheap? I know abotu Russia/VPN and all that, but what about these cheap ROW AAA preorders?

Steam already banned my account once because I received a Russian/VPN gift. Took about 2-3 weeks to resolve that - they reopened my account and said if I get another gift like that they will permanently close the account. The cheap games here make me more than a little paranoid about being permabanned when people are offering CoD Ghosts for $37.

I could see if you used a VPN on YOUR Steam account and tried to purchase a game that they would ban /suspend it (or if someone does a credit card chargeback on a purchased game, I have seen people have issues with that.) I can't see how a game that is traded to you from a different country (as long as it's region free) that there is anything that they could do... There own trading system allows for this and if they have issues with it then they need to region restrict more games from the territories with much cheaper games.

I have over 1,300 Steam game on my account and probably 150-300 of them I have obtained from traders that purchase from the Russian and Ukraine stores.

I have only been suspended once and it was because of a mixup during the winter coal event of 2011.

I think he used VPN to activate a region restricted Russian gift which is a really bad thing to do. Steam tolerates VPN activation for "keys" but not "Gifts"
