This week the very fun (and oddly named) racing game Trackmania United Forever is $19.99

You can play Trackmania Nations Forever through Steam absolutely free. It only has a few track locations and one type of car, but it should give you a feel for the game.

This is one of my favarite racing games ever. I paid full price for this on Steam and it was worth every penny.

It reminds me of an ooooold classic game called 'Stunt Track Racer' I used to play on the C64.

I paid full price for mine. My favorite themes are Island and Stadium.

I'd like to get it, but worry about the copy protection. Does it still use StarForce, or does it stick to Steam's system only? I am one of the people who has had a DVD burner killed by StarForce, so I'm hesitant to put anything on my system that puts me at risk again for that.

There is no StarForce. I bought the game at full price once they announced they had removed StarForce from the game. Link confirming removal 6/29/07 The only copy protection included is Steam's.
