Because of the exclusive steel? Perhaps you've forgotten about the whole IM2 iron pack ordeal? Target got real pissy once they saw we were PM'ing it to BB for like $15 lol.

It says that for most pre-orders. If it said Only at Target.com then it most likely wouldn't be in stores but I don't think we can confirm that it won't be in stores as of now.

If it's like the usual foolishness with Target.com steelbooks, they may disappear very quickly like they did with Cowboys & Aliens.

I wouldn't hesitate much on pre-ordering this, if you're interested.

Amazon has the non-steelbook version at $17.96 right now, so it's a $5 "premium" for the steelbook.

Got this for 20 buck + shipping :D
Where r u guys getting the gaming steelbooks from? I'd love to have the batman arkham city and battlefield 3 ones.
eBay or Amazon. I got lucky once on eBay and I got 6 steelbooks (no games) G2 PS3 games for $50 shipped.

Dude! Where did you get Ted? My sister would love one of those.

I bought it off overseas. Its 18" tall and without the talking command. There's another one here from CafePress.com. That comes with 3 different size and talking catch phrases.

There's just something about the majority of Play's steelbooks that just looks.. off. Con Air looks cool, and Armageddon looks alright, but The Rock and Die Hard with a Vengeance just look.. I don't know.. kind of lame.

Has anyone heard if they will continue with the Bond steelbooks?

I just read that the next 3 are walmart exclusive according to highdefdigest.

Won't happen.

Link?
Some pretty awesome steels being released once again as Play.com exclusives (They don't ship to the US) :bomb:
I want Con Air!

Edit: Went and pre-ordered it on ebay xD.

Does anyone know Target's Pre-Order Price Policy? I just ordered the E.T. Steelbook last night for $22.99 and looked again today and it was $20.99. I usually deal with Amazon because their policies are pretty decent in that area.

Its just a per-authorized for pre-order. You get your credit back after 2-3 days.
How does one get included in a group buy? I want that Hunger Games Steelbok from Future Shop as well.
I'm in the same boat.
I'd donate a testicle to get that thing lol.
Any news on The Lorax Best Buy SB? Was it just a myth or will it not be advertised like Underworld Awakening? :whistle2:k
Too late it won't happen. Just PM me if interested.

Both a classic movie for kids and a remarkable portrait of childhood, E.T. is a sci-fi adventure that captures that strange moment in youth when the world is a place of mysterious possibilities (some wonderful, some awful), and the universe seems somehow separate from the one inhabited by grown-ups. Henry Thomas plays Elliott, a young boy living with his single mother (Dee Wallace), his older brother Michael (Robert MacNaughton), and his younger sister Gertie (Drew Barrymore). Elliott often seems lonely and out of sorts, lost in his own world. One day, while looking for something in the back yard, he senses something mysterious in the woods watching him. And he's right: an alien spacecraft on a scientific mission mistakenly left behind an aging botanist who isn't sure how to get home. Eventually Elliott puts his fears aside and makes contact with the "little squashy guy," perhaps the least threatening alien invader ever to hit a movie screen. As Elliott tries to keep the alien under wraps and help him figure out a way to get home, he discovers that the creature can communicate with him telepathically. Soon they begin to learn from each other, and Elliott becomes braver and less threatened by life. E.T. rigs up a communication device from junk he finds around the house, but no one knows if he'll be rescued before a group of government scientists gets hold of him

 • Genre: Kids and Family
 • Release Date: October 9, 2012

I could have sworn the Jaws steel book said region free on amazon.co.uk but i just double checked and it says specifically region B/2 now.

It's a Universal release, it should be region free regardless of what Amazon says.

BB's getting a Jaws digibook so I'm guessing this will be as well.
