Amazon.uk basically always says B/2. The German version is region free so we'll be fine ordering from the Uk

I wonder if you order online it will be a new/mint copy. My local BBY have these but they're all scratch and dented. I wouldn't mind paying $5 for a steelbook.

If it goes lower, just call them up and they'll do it over the phone. Takes a bit of time, though I've not had issues with it, save their system not figuring out tax refunds correctly.

Good to know this is a SB and it's a BB exclusive. If it holds like past trends of some of their steelbooks (Salt, Fast Five, Underworld, Green Lantern), they're hard to find at retail past release week.

All 3 got a price drop to 10GBP, when VAT is removed and shipping added it now comes to about $17.85US shipped each, or around $32.44US for two.
 
I don't believe so. I didn't see any at my local store this morning and if there is an unadvertised new release Steelbook, the usual forums usually blow up with pics and details a few days prior to release.

I know this is the DVD thread, but I just grabbed a couple PS3 Steelbooks from a used game store for $16.99 apiece and was wondering if I got a good deal on them or not.

Resident Evil 5: I don't see any scratches on it, though it's hard to tell because of the artwork. Store sticker on the front and inside plastic.

Star Wars: Force Unleashed 2: Pristine save a store sticker on the inside. It's like they took the USB drive and turned everything else in including the voucher which looks (and I hope is) untouched.

Look at the rating on the back. It has PG-13 which is definitely a US, otherwise G is Canada with Maple logo.

I can only speak with regards to the Xbox versions, but they are both pretty good buys.

RE5 is difficult to track down, so $17 for a steelbook is decent. The rest of the stuff from the CE was pretty terrible (a flimsy bag, a poorly painted figurine, a necklace, and maybe a patch), so you're not missing much there.

SW:TFU2 is not a great buy. You could probably track down the complete CE for about that price. That said, if the steelbook is all you want, $17 isn't bad.

Just checked my account and my order got dropped to 30.05

not sure where the .05 is coming from but whatever.
 
SW:FU2 I got 3 CE's for $30 at one point when Wally World was offering a buy 2 get one free .....

THink I still have two of them unopened that I haven't done anything with.

I talked to them a while ago regarding shipping to the US and they told me to "stay tuned" and to "get a friend in the UK to ship it to the US for you". I asked if they'd be my friend in the UK and ship it to me and they didn't respond :cry:

I want to pre-order Snow White, but I hate how pre-orders work at BestBuy.com...they keep your money on hold basically until it ships. So damn annoying.

There are a lot of Premium Collection Steelbooks for preorder on amazon.co.uk for release on November 12th. They all have a white theme to it like those Japanese ones that came out a bit ago. They look sick, I might preorder a few of them. Here are a few links.
