They're listed as region B because it's a European website. If they don't receive notice of the region code when the listing is created it defaults to B. Never trust store listings for region coding.

My store still has 1 or 2 copies of the season 3 Steelbook, so I'm going with no.

 
So I guess you guys already knew this but I figured I would post this anyways.

It looks like both the 3D version($24.99) of ASM2 and the non-3D version($19.99) both are going to come in those new "Magno Cases" at Best Buy. That works out better for me since I don't need to spend another $5 to get the special case for the 3D version I will never watch even though I have a 3D set-up.

I did not know that. Thanks for the heads up and yea I never watch 3D at home even though my TV supports it. I would rather save the money.

The batman assault on arkham steelbook Blu-ray is showing in stock online for people with no steelbooks at there stores and have anyone did a pm in store on something that was bought online

Why not? I will. Then again, I have over 100 titles in my backlog, including titles I bought years ago, so I am not hard up on stuff to watch. And if I am, I can start watching American non-sports TV again.

Yes. Why wouldn't I? People wait for GOTY editions of games here all the time. How is this any different? Plus, I've already seen the movie in the theater, and I can rent it on Netflix if I want to see it again before the extended edition comes out. Why waste my money on a copy that will be useless to me once the extended edition comes out next year?

My order for ASM2 shipped. Doesn't say a delivery date though. I accidentally ordered the 3d version. Hopefully will pick up the non 3d on Tuesday in store.
 
If they're going to do an extended version next year, I'll pick up the metalpak theatrical release from Target and wait out for the extended 3D release next year.

Any more pictures/video of the Spider-Man 2 magno case? Still no in store pick up option on the website. I'd rather not pay them to send me a dented case when I can just pick it up in the store. Hopefully the in store pick up option appears tomorrow/later today.

That's what I'm doing. The other guys are going to wait a year to buy it if it's a hard to find there going to be out of luck

Anyone think we will get a 3D/2D steelbook Blu-ray for the new TMNT Movie
 
Saw some pics of the Spider-Man 2 magno case over on the blu-ray.com forums. The inside where the discs are housed could have used some actual artwork but the front and back covers do look very nice. The comic book looks neat too. Since the US isn't getting a steelbook, I guess I'll pick this up at my Best Buy tomorrow morning.

The steelbook they did release at Future Shop I think it is, is ugly anyway. It has a nasty thick black border and front picture looks uncentered.
 
I did an in store pickup for the 3D version this morning before they opened. I got there a few minutes after opening and didnt see any other 3D ones on the floor so I'm guessing they were all claimed through in store pickup. I saw plenty of the 2 disc version though. I gotta say, I really like the case. It's really shiny and makes the artwork pop. The front and back covers look great as well as the pictures of Spider-Man and Electro facing off once you unfold it. I still would have preferred some artwork on the inside instead of the electricity on a blue background but the shininess at least keeps it from looking too bland. The discs have some nice art at least. The one thing I do not like is how the discs are stored. Its a pain to get in and out. They also used a heck of a lot of glue on the cardboard flap that wraps around the case. Took me a little bit to rub out all the residue.
 
I like the case of Spider-Man 2 quite a bit more than regular metal cases.

And I think the X-Men Days of Future Past art is pretty bad, so I don't mind waiting for a non-steelbook extended edition.  I'd rather do that.  I won't regret it.

 
Just picked up my magno case spiderman from best buy. The artwork looks very nice and I do like how vibrant the colors look, but the quality just isn't there when you hold it in hand. It feels very cheap and plastic. If it were actually metal it might be a different story, but it's not. The worst thing about it is the edges. The outside edges look good but on top and inside you can see the inner material foam stuff. Over time I bet this will separate the outer piece from the inner. I was excited when I read about it and saw the first pictures. I hope this is the last magno case, overall I'm disappointed.
 
Interesting... reminds me of a mousepad. Also, are the disks protected from scratching? The mockups didn't look like there's raised areas in the center or sides or the disks.

 
My best buy only had 3 of the special cases for 3D but a bunch for 2D. That's was the vendor who told me also. Said she was looking for more but couldn't find them.
 
My Best Buy didn't take $10 off Amazing Spider-man 2 3D Magno & Toy Story Terror (Movie/TV Show) so I had to take it over to Customer Service for manual override. Online took $10 off with no problem but not in-store. Lame!
