There was nothing in the Electronics section but I went to the New Release display up front and there were 3 steelbooks left. I grabbed 2 but when I got home and checked this thread I totally spaced on the save $5 with a Disney Infinity character. If i go back to my store to take advantage of that deal can I just bring the receipt from my purchase? Or do I need to bring the steelbooks with me too to customer service? Any advice on how to do this is appreciated.

You can do a return & re-buy in the customer service, or you can buy a Skylander figure for 7.99 if you have GCU and save a few bucks.


 
Well this isn't good-- I got an email this morning saying my Big Hero 6 Steelbook was unavailable for pickup at my store but I could update the delivery method to have it shipped. Trying to do that and everytime I select shipping I get a "your cart is empty" message :(.
 
I showed up at my Target around lunch time and they told me they just sold the last one a few minutes before I got there.  When I got back to my office I saw they finally put them available for store pickup.  The Target in the next town over showed them as having stock so I jumped on it.  I then get the e-mail saying it's ready for pick-up.  Just before I'm about to leave work to go get it I get a call from the store manager saying they pulled the wrong one and that they no longer had any available to fulfill my order.  WTF!  I swear one of the employees pulled it for themselves to leave me hanging.

So if we didn't get one are we pretty much out of luck on these?  The manager told me they can hold my order and wait for more to come in.  She said they should get more in since it's a new item but I don't think she understood this was a collectible case.

 
Went to Target and they were out of all Big Hero 6 Blu-rays, Steel or not (luckily, found a copy for about $21 on eBay), but the clearence rack had, among 20 copies of Hobbit 2 DVDs, was a brand new Steelbook copy of Super 8 for $10.
 
One of the stores is showing 60+ in stock all of a sudden (showed 0 yesterday), so there *might* actually be a restock on the Target exclusive Big Hero 6 Steelbook.  Cross your fingers!

Guys, where's CL3 3-5-1? Target scanner says there's 1 located in that aisle...

Target employee said Checkout Lane 3... But that's where the kiosk is. Either it's literally at the checkout lane, or someone stole or displaced it from the kiosk... I found one of the regular Blu-rays on a magezine rack, so who knows.

Well I give up. I'm going to see if there's a restock tomorrow, or simply not buy it. It's my favorite Disney movie, and I like collecting stuff, but maybe it wasn't meant to be.

If anyone is looking for any extras on the Hero 6 steelbook let me know. I think my Target might have some still.

Or they are all out. I'll check in the morning to make sure.

Picked up the two BH6 I had ordered for in-store pick-up. Still have an extra JL: Throne of Atlantis too.

Any chance anyone who wanted a BH6 that doesn't want the digital copy? The reason I'm not that interested is cause I preordered the Zavvi 3D one. Which of course, means I'll not get a digital copy.

Zavvi brought out preorders for both Ratatoille 3d and Wall-E but they are both sold out. In case cancellations or something open them back up I figured some people around here would want to know. I have both the NA BB Steelbooks for these so I can pass, though i'd love ratatouille 3d if only it wasn't region locked.

Not that I'm aware of, as the only things we've seen about it have been pre-order offers as follows:

1) Pre-order Mockingjay Pt 1 for $19.99 in-store, get a digital copy of the movie for free at time of purchase (CinemaNow).

2) Pre-order Mockingjay Pt 1 for $29.99 in-store, get a digital copy of Hunger Games, Catching Fire and Mockingjay Pt 1 at time of purchase (CinemaNow).

They usually put up the page first and then open orders on a certain date, so they might not even be available to order yet. I would assume that the Ratatouille would be region locked anyways. The 3D disc in the standard UK version is region B only.

Edit: According to a Facebook post pre-orders start this weekend.

I have an extra Big Hero 6 and Justice League Throne of Atlantis that I am open to trading. The only thing I am looking for is Beauty and the Beast 3D (I know that its not an even trade so I would throw in some cash or something else in trade)  so if you're interested in trading shoot me a pm

I'm worried the store that is showing 60+ is completely inaccurate, but in any case I plan to find out the truth tomorrow.  I haven't seen any other stores show a restock, particularly of such significance (this store went from 0 Wednesday morning to 64 yesterday, then 63, then 60, then back to 64), thus I suspect that perhaps that particular store confused the DPCI for the steelbook with the regular blu combo, which has been restocked.  

 
Steelbook's wasn't big in 2012 Like it is now that's why there's no post in it
