First off  I was talking about me not getting to a target store till August 4th and second off  it's up but you can't pre-order it like I said

First off you didn't say you, nor do we believe there's a valid reason, and second off it's not up because there's not two listings on the Target site. There's 3 total listings on Target (figure, dvd, blu-ray), when there should be 4 (figure, dvd, amaray, steelbook).

It's not up for pre-order but it's there It's going to be 16.99 for the steelbook ver

I wonder what the shelf tag price is going to say in-store tomorrow for the three Mondo steelbooks.  They never came down from $24.99 on the website.

Hello fellow steelbook collectors:

The JL steel is under the same sku as the normal blu ray. My store only got 7 copies of the movie so far (2 steelbooks, 5 normal). It's 16.99. Supposedly 5 more should be here this morning but who knows if it's going to be steels or not. Most likely not tho, since the 1st 2 was steels than 5 normal came in afterwards. All stores in So Cal showed  low inventory numbers *yesterday*. There's also a version that $24.99or27 which includes a figure and the steelbook. My store only has two of these. Happy hunting & good luck.

My Atlanta Ga. Edgewood Target only had two steelbooks so like the above poster mentioned I'd go early rather than later if you really want one.

Does the deluxe version include the steel book and the figure? I'm at work and I called a few places and they are either sold out or can't hold me a copy since its a new release. So I was going to order the deluxe version online.

Unfortunately, there's no Steelbook + figure version. It's one or the other.

ETA: I was wrong. Keep reading this thread to see multiple users point it out.

It looks like this will be one of the uberrare DC animated steels, as if there was any doubt.

Unless the planogram is different for other stores, this was my experience at the Shiloh, IL (STL suburb in IL) Target.

No spot for Justice League at the front. One display of new/recent releases plus a display of some kids movie I've never heard of.

Went to Electronics/Media & the kids movie display had 2 racks of the Blu-Ray & 2 racks of the DVD. Given how full they were I'd estimate I was the first one there.

They only had 4 copies of the Steelbook only. If there was a version with Steelbook & figure or DVD & figure either this store didn't get them, I didn't see them, or someone bought those in the 2 hours since they had opened.

My usual store only had two copies of the steelbook version, hidden behind the rest of the non-steelbook versions in Electronics & Media.  The SB does have a different UPC # than the non-steelbook, so there is no excuse Target has to not give it a different DPCI #.

If there was a steelbook + figure version, it was impossible for me to find it for the cluster-fuck the restock process for Media was this morning.   I'm OK with passing on the figure this time around and won't likely have any time to hit Target again for a couple more days, which likely when they'll be gone.

The media rep stocking shelves had no idea that he already put them on the shelf tucked in behind the non-SB versions since they were mixed all together in the shipping box.

Glad I managed to find one, even if there was a version with the figure as well.   I'll make another pass later in the week and see if the SB + figure one is there.

*Looks at title*

This is incorrect.

Just came out of Target and there is regular version, steelbook version (4 at my Target, ) figure version (1,) and a steelbook plus figure version (1.) All had different upcs. But you have to see the box. The one with both says contains exclusive Target steelbook or something like that. I left it because box was crushed and was $24.99. So I just grabbed the steelbook version. This was in Downey California.
+1 verified on figure & steel combo.

Went to Target in San Jose and they had no Steelbooks. Saw the deluxe version and picked one up due to people on Blu-ray saying they come with one. Came home to open it and no Steel :/ (this was a numbered version as well). If anyone wants to sell me one for cost plus shipping PM me.

I stopped at my target and picked up the only two Justice league steel books that they had. For the sole purpose of helping out people on here who need one. $20 shipped you can have it at cost. PM me.

If lots of people want these I will check some more stores. Try to reply quickly so I can gauge interest. They'll obviously be gone from stores after today.

Are you guys getting the Gods & Monsters steelbook mainly because it's a steelbook, or is the movie itself good?

My store only had 1 of the steelbooks, didn't look for the steelbook + figure since I generally don't like the look of the included figures.  This was at lunchtime, so I'm guessing they had 2 to start with.

I haven't seen it yet, but most of the DC animated films have been good. I saw some of the online shorts that came out to promote it, and those were as well, so it's worth a blind buy for me.

I went at 8:45am this morning and there were only 3 steelbooks. I did not notice if there were any steelbook+figure as I wasn't interested in the figure, it looked really cheap and lame.

Shit, my local Target (which I can usually count on for steelbooks) got none in of the new JL steelbook.  I will be able to check two more tomorrow morning so hopefully I can luck out there.

This ain't the "GoodMovie Worldwide Exclusive 2015" thread. ;)

Also, I just came from the Target close to the office and they had no copies of this movie out at all. No DVD, Blu-ray, Blu-ray+, SB, or SB+, not even a spot on the shelves or end caps for the movie. I gave them all a WTF goofy look as I walked out.

I really wish that would have been the case this time around.

Spent $24.99 + Tax to get the SB, could give a rats ass about the figure. Going to eBay the DVD + Figure see if I can get some money back.

It might have been more worth your time (and someone else's time too, that was looking for the version with the doll figure and now won't find it) to just have bought the plain SB case version. You might get back more than $7+tax for the doll figure but I would think it's too much hassle.

By the way, if I find the version with the figure doll I'm probably going to get it.

The media guy stocking the Media area at my local Target didn't know he put out the steelbook versions with the regular ones. They were in the second of two columns on the "new releases" floor display (which now has popcorn and candy packages at the ends, which seems really fucking stupid to me), hidden at the back.

When he checked with his lead, he said they were supposed to be up front by the checkout lanes. He didn't know there was a SB, nor did he know where they would go.

They were tossed in with the regular releases, so he didn't know what they were. Only lucked out because I dug through all of the copies.

Oddly enough, this same store had 3 copies of the Chappie steelbook up-front, marked at $22.99 each.

I asked one of the electronics guys about the movie and he didn't know anything about it and said, "If it's new it's on this end cap." Also, there wasn't a New Release movies display on an end cap at the registers which was odd because there is always a display of new release movies somewhere in there. I'm just glad the store was air conditioned, otherwise it would have been a complete waste of time.

I'll stop by at least one more Target store today, hopefully that one store was just an anomaly.
