I'm looking for some new headphones which are "street headphones", the ones which are normally placed around the ear but are not sound-canceling. I'm tired of earbuds and their relatively low quality and losing the padding and whatnot.
What are some good street headphones which I could pick up for maybe $30, and would be good for listening to on the mass transit system?

I'm gonna listen to some Coffins on these. I recommend you check them out if you're into doom/thrash metal.
EDIT: Bass is of the utmost importance.
