Subscriptions and Notifications

I somehow subscribed to a thread and I get a weekly email showing a rundown of all threads that were updated and created.

This is perfect, but I want to change the frequency and the criteria in which I receive these updates.

For example, when a thread has been created, I would like to receive an email.

I have looked high and low in my Control Panel and Subscriptions set up and I cannot find this. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

vBulletin doesn't support email notifications for when threads are posted.

We're moving to a different system in the very near future, but I'm not sure if it'll support it there either.
