Suggestions on 5.1 external sound processors?

Creative has a whole line of external sound processors. I am currently using this one for my laptop:

It's good for its price, and does what suppose to do. If you want more info, you can look at the Creative's website for their line of external sound cards.
While shopping for one, I also found this:

These are around $30 if I remember correctly, but they seem to be OOP now. You can probably find it somewhere else for ~$30.
I suggest going with the Creative since they are probably a better company to go to if you need any support.
