The IGN review makes it sound a lot like GBA Denki Blocks. Except worse.
The reviewer had some strange (to me) ideas. Denki Blocks and It's Mr. Pants (two games that seem in the same ballpark as this one) have lots of levels that are unsolvable if you screw up. It's kinda the point? You have to do it the right way, or there are extra, unsolvable pieces.
On the other hand, if the game does not inform you that it's unsolvable or makes you wait for the timer to tick all the way down, that's just sad and a reason to avoid this game.
I highly recommend Denki Blocks, if you don't have it.
