Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition $32.81 (Ps3/360) -Free Shipping-
They've already started locking save files on the 3DS genius

And you can't deny the added value of this being on a disc. It's worth at least double if not triple of what the dl version is worth.
Locking save files? It's about time.

Tired of dumbasses borrowing my games and overwriting my saves.

Disc version is easily worth double what the DLC version costs. It's like buying all 6 versions of Terminator 2 on DVD. Gotta have the best and most complete version.
No, my wallet is hurting right now from the wonderful purchases I just made.
well i am sure your money was well spent

how bout you make another wonderful purchase and gift me a copy?

I should, then I could spread the joy to everybody and get capcom to make AE Turbo.
Ono's comments are the most recent. I expect a balancing patch in a few months with two new characters appearing some time after Third Strike Online launches.
I thought I read that there would be no balance patches. Hopefully you're right. The SF community seems pretty displeased with the current state of balance in AE.
So if I buy Arcade Edition, I still have to put out the $15 for the DLC too, right?
Does it at least come with the costumes?
no its already has everything the dlc has...you could buy costumes if you wanted but its the arcade edition with the extra 4 characters and all that
Heeey, I've been maining him since Alpha. For better or worse, I'm pretty loyal to my mains. For better now that Third Strike Online's coming out. :)
God, I love Third Strike more than anything in life, but the sodium will rise inside me once Online Edition comes out. Can't wait to fight off the horde of Chun & Ken. At least I'll have my 100% stun Makoto.

THe main advantage of buying this version is to have the 4 dlc characters on the disc where you're free to bring it to any other system and still have a ll the characters. I got this for the PS3 yesterday and there is a severe flaw in the game where it won't get past the VS screen. The game freezes everytime you get to the vs screen no matter what mode you play. I've even tried turning off the AE mode off as well as installing the game to my ps3 and nothing works. It needs to be patched but they essentially printed out a defective game as of right now.

I've been told if you have SSF4 game data installed on the system that it causes this. Apparently if you remove the game data(not the save data) it resolves the issue? I don't have the disc version yet to confirm.
The ps3 ae editon forced me to download the 1.05 patch I figured it would be on disk...
Patches shouldn't be on disc. Its better to have 1.0 anyway just in case you want to revert.

Well no, they can still overwrite your save, except now you cant do anything about it and will continue from where they left off.
Will the new Arcade Edition on disc load SSF4 save file? I know from SF4 to SSF4, that didn't happen.
Yea, it'll use your old save file.

worst question ever, you must have not played any SF installments
Yeah, hideously awesome!
For every awesome one there are four or five horrible ones.

Looking forward to the Stan Lau AE cover art.

I've had this game in my cart for a few days now and watched the price slowly creep down to $32.xx for either platform from Amazon itself and a third party (fulfilled by Amazon).
fuck Capcom. Even Nintendo isn't this flagrant with console revisions of their portables
This is the most milked game milkcom has done since street fighter 2 and I think they aren't done with street fighter 4 either, I bet a version for the vita will be avalible at launch as they can easily port it
The least Capcom could have done was to release this game at 20 dollars
=/
No you don't get it, it's capcom way of milking cows. Also there is a SSF 4 AE 2012 in works currently. As a hardcore fan of the SF 4 series myself I picked up the dlc on release day

I got sick of the turtles on this game at one point and setted 60 secs for the lulz on ranked match! Totally trolled this Gouken player, also I don't believe in the tier system, because skills > tiers
