Surprisingly the Last TV Show You Saw was Good

I have been watching Fringe on Netflix because TV sucks right now. some people like the show and some hate it, but i am a huge fan. I also watched the new X-Files and that was good so far. It really needs to come back.

I had no idea there was a Monopoly game show sponsored by state lotteries. Very Price is Right-ish, but...interesting.

Slowly making my way through Family Matters season 2. So far they're keeping a balance on the Urkel plotlines, I do appreciate White's earnest performance. Freakin' network execs.

Supergirl last night was great as usual. Man, the Army in her world are a bunch of pricks, considering that the original Henshaw was a "sorry excuse for a man." Next week! Woo hoo.

So, I guess they really are going forward with the Mockingbird spinoff show. Hopefully it's on ABC and not Netflix.

Finished Daredevil Season 2, pretty decent season, didn't want it to end. I also finished season 4 of House of Cards, which was kind of a boring season in a way, but I did enjoy it for the most part.

I think that was it recently though, but I feel as if I'm missing a show.

Can there be some Crisis event that merges Supergirl with the CW shows? Because that episode was awesome (yes, even with that super cheesy final fight crowd scene) and I want more.

Don't count it out though. It might happen!

This was definitely much better than the Snyderverse. Even if it falls into the trappings of the CW-stuff, Benoist and Gustin embody the characters who they're supposed to play, as opposed to some cynical teenage fantasy.

I have never imagined that hot yoga and Bernie Sanders would be uttered by Calista Flockhart.

Just binged on The 100 ...loved it.

I also started watching 11.22.63 ...really interesting concept and I love how the past fights back. Caught up pretty quickly so now only have the final episode to watch on Monday. I have a couple theories on how it'll all go down.

I tried to watch The 100, but the first episode was full of deus ex machina moments that I could barely get past it.

Locked in a cell, but you know this shit no one had seen in 100 years? Repeat every 2 minutes. Yea, not buying it.

As if I needed more reasons to be annoyed at Cruz and Trump, ABC interrupts Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. to give me a status update right in the middle of an important scene. Argh.

That was different. They cut RIGHT in the middle of the scene, and it continued! As if it couldn't wait until the commercial break. WTF do I care if one idiot won over the other idiot? I wanna see Powers Boothe strut his bad self.

Fresh off the Boat was hilarious, a Melrose Place spoof.

The Democratic election got a mere ticker update later on. Part of me wants to think it was them learning from their mistake, but part of me thinks they did it just because Bernie won and if Hillary had won they would have done another cut-in.

Decided to start up House of Cards since I left it during mid season 3. I got some catch up to do.

Also Bob's Burgers season 5 is up on Netflix. It's been pretty good.

Electra in Daredevil has been an annoying cunt. I really hope her character develops because I just can't stomach her snooty attitude. Punisher is a freakin' badass. Give this guy a spinoff Netflix show.

Not sure if these type of shows count, but my wife and I are hooked on an investigative show called See No Evil.

It's a show that depicts how murder cases were all solved in large part to CCTV/Video Surveillance, and it shows the actual footage as the family and detectives discuss their memories of the investigations.  The part that has us hooked is that it shows real life surveillance (along with reenactments) so it puts us in that state of "Omg. Is that a ____?" or "Did they just ___?" while pointing to the screen.

It's just a good series that we watch more frequently than any current TV show.  I feel like I'm in that episode of South Park where Stan's parents are all into their murder porn haha. In fact, when we start it up from the DVR, I say it's time for some murder porn.

Sucks to hear about Elektra, does it make one wish she went back to being a killer whore characterization.

Yeah, I quit watching Arrow.

I really hope that either in the finale or during next season of Supergirl somebody calls out Alex for rushing into things. She has made situations worse multiple times now.

It's awesome that we're finally getting the Secret Warriors (and if Joey turns out to be a bad guy I will be pissed), but where are Deathlok and the Koening Bros.?

How many episode are left of agent of shield? I totally forgot about the Secret Warriors after a couple of episodes.

They just shot the finale a few weeks ago aging they still have to tie into Civil War, so I expect the season finale to be at the end of May.

Meanwhile, watched a bunch of episodes of the new Powerpuff Girls show. While at times it has the feel of the old show, there are some nagging bits that annoy me. The biggest being the narrator's small role. The episodes no longer have the "City of Townsville!" beginning nor does it always have the iconic "And so, the day is saved! Thanks to...the Powerpuff Girls!" ending.

Watched Fuller House in its season entirety the other day. Honestly, I've always liked campy family sitcoms like that and I liked it although I did grow up watching the original too. I can see how some likely despised this show like the original but it's not nearly as bad as I thought it would be. I figured only fans of Full House would like it at all but it seems many like it even who never watched the first show in all of its glorious 90s cheesiness. It must be pretty surreal for the returning actors to be back on that set (even though it's a reproduction) 30 years later, I mean who would have thought this would ever happen? Not saying this show is anything great but as far as typical family sitcoms go it's average and I can honestly say I've seen some pretty bad ones over the years.

I kinda hope this show goes on for a few seasons, I like most of the characters and it's pretty fun seeing the originals come back for guest roles. The elephant in the room is obviously Michelle and I'm very curious to see if they get the Olsen who said they were willing (one of the two ruled it out, doesn't want to do any acting at all now) to do a cameo at some point. Obviously she won't get a recurring role since the Olsens have clearly indicated they want no regular part in this show but eventually it's going to be pretty odd not to see Michelle pop up sometime.

I only watched the first episode, but they did make a crack and break the fourth wall at the Olsen twins being too busy.
Yeah, I think they really do run a company or at least are heavily involved in one. Only one of them has said they'd be willing to do a cameo, the other does not want to act again. I don't expect them to do it as a supporting role or anything, but even just a one-shot appearance would be nice. I don't think show has a long life but will probably go on for at least a few seasons and it would be odd not to see the character at least once. Sometimes I forgot she even existed until she was referenced (which wasn't as much as you might think since they obviously want her to show up).

UGH, Disney has cancelled Wander Over Yonder.  Bitch move, Disney, bitch move.  I've been watching the show since episode one (was looking forward to it, since I heard he and his wife were making a new show), and I LOVED LOVED LOVED My Fair Hatey.  Here's a link to the awesome as hell song from that episode https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xdEo_t-iVbM  BTW, every song from that episode was amazing

Holey Charles Barkley. Last night's Agents of Shield was amazing. I honestly don't give a flying fig about Civil War at all. The show this season could've focused on the Inhuman uprising caused by the fish pills, instead they're working on a story that affects every one of those superpowered beings. They revealed more about Hive, which to be fair does take inspiration from those old scifi movies about pod people. I thought it reminded me of how Dio Brando controls people in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. Paranoia abound, as this is a spy show. And that ending, who'd seen it coming?

Hahahaha . . . I'm still watching reruns of Seinfeld at the moment!
I like watching an episode late night right before I go to bed.

Funny story: A week ago my daughter made a hat at school and I called it the "Urban Sombrero" So today she actually made a sombrero for cinco de mayo at school. She told her teacher it's the "Urban Sombrero". I have no idea if her teacher got the joke but I burst into tears laughing when she told me. BTW she's 5 years old.

I'm watching a lot more of the Adult Swim streams, and have watched all of Neon Joe: Werewolf Hunter. Hilarious show. This infomercial thing is interesting too.

Only the first four episodes. I'm still planning on getting the DVD, but this is awesome.

Watching Harvey Birdman again. Hilarious.

Finished season 3 of Family Matters, they're using Urkel way too much. But this seasons brings in my favorite character, Waldo. This show heavily depends on old vaudevillian jokes.

Supergirl has been renewed for a second season, but is getting some changes. The show is not only moving to Vancouver for filming, but moving networks to the CW. Calista Flockhart has said she will remain on the series.

EDIT: Unfortunately, the other female - led comic book show, Agent Carter, has been officially cancelled.

EDITx2: Castle was also cancelled.

Why don't they move to Toronto instead, there are too many shows in Vancouver, and National City will be alot like Central/Star. It's messed up that filming in Vancouver is cheaper than in movieland Los Angeles.

I'm bummed the Grinder was cancelled. It had Timothy Olyphant as well as Rob Lowe and Fred Savage!
