Hey OTT,

Does anyone else have a problem with sweaty palms? I have a professional presentation coming up, so hand shakes will be inevitable. I'd love to hear your suggestions.

Thanks!

Don't think about sweaty hands.
Stay cool, and know you're on your game.
If someone has to shake your hand and it's sweaty, oh well.
Definitley not a big deal.
Maybe bring a small rag though if it's that bad.

Sweaty hands are awesome. You never have to worry about hand moisturizer. Don't give a damn what anybody else thinks. If you must, blame it on the guy whose hand you shook last.

You can try these suggestions: http://www.ehow.com/how_5024_prevent-sweaty-palms.html
  1. Step 1
Try clapping cornstarch or talcum powder between your palms. Medicated powders are available to soak up moisture, too.
  2. Step 2
Use an unscented, aluminum salt-based antiperspirant, preferably a product made for palms and feet.
  3. Step 3
Wipe your palms often on tissues or a hand towel.
  4. Step 4
Apply aluminum chloride paint to the area for persistent clamminess.
  5. Step 5
Make an appointment to see your health care provider if over-the-counter remedies don't help. Profuse sweating that occurs at inappropriate times (when you're not hot and you haven't been exercising) is a rare condition called hyperhidrosis.
  6. Step 6
Get several opinions; some things help some folks and not others.
