The following is all jacked from jimijumper's "The Bona-Fide Target Clearance Thread XX IS NOW CLOSED!!!" thread linked below

Previous thread:

XX

Target clearance is YMMV
Games may not even be on clearance at your store, or they may be higher or lower than what is on this list.

This thread is for clearance-- not for sale items. Price reductions for clearance seem to happen on Monday but could also occur any day of the week depending on your store's price change team. Price adjustments on clearance are typically not allowed, but some have succeeded or have been able to do as return and rebuy.

Further reduction is possible when a game's price ends with 8 cents. However, when it ends in 4 cents it will NOT drop anymore. If it ends in 9 cents, it's just on sale or on a non-clearance reduction. Also, note that, typically, games will drop three times-- from 30%, 50%, then to the final drop of 70% or 75% off of the original price. Some people, however, have seen further drops up to 85%.

When games are marked down, the price change team typically find the game and scan it with their PDA/LRT to intiate the price change. However, in the case that they cannot find the game, they will either choose to not drop the price further or process the price change anyway, figuring that the game is somewhere in the store.

When posting deals, please include game, system, price, DCPI # and online item # in RED!!!

For example:

$4.98
123-45-6789 Random Game Name #12345678

DPCI stands for Department, Class, Item-- it's Target's version of a SKU. These are a nine digit number that can always be found on your receipt and also on the red clearance tags on the item itself.

DPCI numbers are handy to have when you want to check the item's price-- just go over to your scanner and punch in the numbers, if your scanners have keypads. Also, you can give these numbers to team members so they can check the availability of the item easily with their PDA scanners. Please post any DPCI #'s or Online Item #'s that are not already in the OP-- thanks!

This is especially important since some of the DPCI numbers on Target.com start with 241, meaning they cannot be used in-store, and also meaning that I can't get all of the numbers from Target.com.

New link to search for items using Target's online item #:

Find In Store

You can also take the DPCI # and search on Target.com for an exact match and then use the store locator there.

(HUGE PROPS TO mitch079 FOR GETTING US THIS USEFUL INFO!!!)

If you are having trouble with the above search here are more detailed directions:

Take the DPCI #s and search on target.com for an exact match and then use the store locator there. If there isn't an exact match, try googling Target and the DPCI #. For instance, on the 500 gb Seagate hard drive, it doesn't show up on the site. Google shows the online # as 13730271. Then, you can plug the online # in http://m.target.com/fiats/t- and put the online number after the - so the link would be: http://m.target.com/fiats/t-13730271. Hit enter, plug in your zip and it should work.

Here is a fairly easy way to check your local Target's pricing in-store as often price tags will not be correct:

1) Go to Half.com or a similar site. Search for the game to locate its UPC code number. It's in the gray box underneath the box art graphic.
2) Go to UPC Database ,Milk.com , or UPC Data and enter the code so you can print out the UPC. Go to Target and use the price scanners to scan your printouts.

Thanks to BigDirty for that^

I am starting off this new thread going back toOctober 1st, 2012 February 2013.
Please refer to the prior thread for any items before then.
I don't think I want to be serenaded by a Justin Bieber singing toothbrush.... D:
Does it vibrate?

The only thing worth noting about my the clearance section at my target was that they had the mw3 turtle beach bravo I think for 360 and the blops2 turtle beach kilo for ps3. Forgot the exact prices but I think they were something like $53.xx or $43.xx. This was the south Philly target. There were 2 of each last night. Didn't pick any up since I already have the px5.

I believe they were $43 with regular price $59.99.
I did take a couple of pictures yesterday when I went to target. Let's see what I can find...
WWE 12 for Wii - $8.98
Madagascar 3 for 360 - $21.01
Green Lantern for DS - $5.98
Mystery Case Files for Wii - $8.98
Battleship for PS3 - $20.98
New Carnival Games for DS - $5.98
NHL 12 for PS3 - $19.98

I know they also had Fifa Soccer for 3ds, Fifa Soccer for PSP, MLB the show 12 PS3, Tiger Woods 12 PS3, God of war collection PS3, and some other games. Don't remember prices.

Does Target have like.. a default "clearance area"? I never see a damn thing on clearance in my local stores electronics section. So they either don't do clearance or stick it somewhere else I guess.

My store puts them on the back end caps (i.e. the end caps facing the walls, not the aisles).

Supposed to be on the back end caps facing walls. However, you also have to check cases as of late. They seem to be a lot more unorganized since I had worked there in 2007-9.

Target has been placing clearance games in spots that are random as hell, lately. Seriously. I've seen a store or 2 with some down the aisle of tablet pc's, amongst other spots.

It's best to ask an employee where their clearance section is AND check all over electronics if you are TRUELY on the hunt for clearance merchandise.

FIFA 13 for the 3DS was 11.98 at my local Target, and it trades in for 11 plus bonus at GS, so I grabbed one.
They also had a PS3 Guitar Hero Warriors of Rock band bundle for 37.98. If I had a PS3 I might have picked that up.

Target actually has some pretty good sales but they're aren't mentioned. Last week was Sonic Generations for $16 unadvertised.

Wow, after a what feels like a year dry spell at Target.

:ps3: Rayman Origins $5.98
:dvd: Devil's Advocate $1.36 (marked as online item)
I don't think I want to be serenaded by a Justin Bieber singing toothbrush.... D:
Lol...I saw those in Best Buy a while back and was joking about them with my girlfriend. For $3, I might be tempted to get one as a gag gift.

My Target clearenced a ton of stuff today. 2 copies of Kinect Sports Season 2 at 8.98, 2 copies of WWE 12 for PS3 at 8.98, Mysterious Malgrove case files for Wii at 8.98, and a shitload of Pokemon and Epic Mickey styluses along with some Nyko Wii remotes.

I picked up the 2 Kinect Sports and 1 WWE, opened them in the car and the traded them into the GS next door to my Target for $51 after promo!

Saw a couple of MLB12, WWE12 & Hole in the Wall. And one DC Online Universe for $8.98, is this game still active? It's free to play online now right?

Yeah the game is free to play now and the 1 year of Legacy that they would have given you if you had the retail copy of the game is no longer functioning so buying the game would be a waste of time unless you were collecting PS3 games or something like that.

Stopped by the Cool Springs Target tonight, didn't have time to swing into the one on the other side of Franklin. Found:
:ps3: God of War collection (just GoW 1 and 2) Greatest Hits $14.98
:ps3: Battlefield Bad Company 2 Ultimate $5.98
:wii: cute Epic Mickey paintbrush and clicker, one at $20.98, the other I dunno
:3ds: assorted Pokemon accessories, styluses mainly
:wii: Wireless Sensor Bar $10.48, picked up one but will be going back next week to see if a deeper discount hits

Nothin' else really. Lots of Cadbury eggs, if you dig 'em like I do.

Thank you for your post. Let me know if that wii bar drops lower

picked up Batman arkham city GOTY xbox for 8.98 yesterday for my buddy. Couldn't believe it was for that low.

Probably the version with the year one code that expired on saturday.

Lucky! 3 of the 4 targets near me still haven't clearanced it out yet. (Haven't visited the 4th, but I assume it is the same). 19.99 for GOTY...
Thank you for your post. Let me know if that wii bar drops lower
I think you can get a wireless wii sensor bar for cheaper than that elsewhere online. The "tech" behind it is super simple and can actually be made pretty easily at home (although not as pretty as one prebuilt haha).

It begins! The first Wii U game I've seen on clearance! And it's..

:wiiu: Game Party Champions $34.98

Oh well. :(

Also saw a :ps3: Dualshock 3 MLB '11 edition for $38.48. I know you can get DS3s cheaper if you're not too worried about colors, but hey, it's on the clearance rack so who knows what it could drop to? I'd grab it for under $15.

Got Kinect Sports Season 2 for $8.98. You already know...;)
Had KHDDD scanned-$39.99

Just started playing with that $12 Xbox Wireless racing wheel. So glad I didn't trade Forza Horizon as soon as I got it(because it has no 'real' Kinect features) because the music is SOOO good and this Official wheel is fun!:applause: :D

I have learned to research all games that say BETTER WITH KINECT instead of Kinect Required to make sure I can use more than Voice.

Yeah. They're $5 or less on eBay.

well how about that
well how about that
I don't know if the Tomb Raider clearance is a mistake or not. Didn't expect it to hit THAT quickly.
I'll be keeping an eye on it. There were a bunch of copies so I hope it makes it to 50%.

Was that for the Target exclusive steelcase edition of TR?
Was that for the Target exclusive steelcase edition of TR?
Good question. I don't know. I didn't know there was an exclusive steel case version at Target. It looked like the standard packaging I've seen at other stores. Not sure if the steel case version looks different or not.

Hmmm, I can only find one version on Target's site; you didn't happen to note the DPCI number did you? The PS3 version on Target's site notes a DPCI of 207-24-0633

Scored a BF:BC2 ultimate for $6. (PS3) anyone know if the codes inside have expired? I don't want to open it if they have.

What promos?

Stopped by four Targets yesterday and saw PSP games out for the first time in months.

Secret Agent Clank/Dexter dual pack - 19.99
Syphon Filter: Logan's Shadow/Killzone Liberation dual pack - 19.99

They also had some singles for either 9.99 or 19.99, but I can't remember all of the titles. Singles of Killzone Liberation and Ape Escape On The Loose were $10 and Gran Turismo for $20. Most were in the "Sony" section, but some were in the clearance end caps w/o any price tags. Maybe they're getting ready to drop the price and get rid of whatever stock is left. The prices I have were from the tags on the shelves and I didn't do any price checks.

Dunno what's going on with my targets, but they refuse to drop the price on TTT2 and one of the ones I went to even just straight up took it out of their system. It's weird because only one Target I go to really has a clearance section with a ton of games. Makes me think that they all just ship their clearanced games to that one location.

Picked up Art Academy lessons for everyone 3DS for 8.98
DPCI 207-02-0452

Quite surprised to find this on clearance and at 70% off!

I saw those Daxter/Clank bundles for $14.99 for the longest time. Non-clearance price.

Daxter stand alone is available at Five Below (YMMV) for $5 I've seen secret agent clank there as well but only once also for $5

Mine's pretty dry. Saw Easter clearance but candy only at 30% off right now. Only score today was:

:br: 3D Blu Ray combo Conan the Barbarian - $7.86 (Online Item)

Newer movie one, not bad. Saw it on Netflix but thought it might be worth it for the price for the 3D/Blu Ray/DVD/Digital Copy combo pack.

I'll be going to Target after work. Fingers crossed.

Yesterday, I found most of the same stuff that's been around for a while but was finally lowered.

:ps3: :360: Just Dance 3 $11.98
:360: Harry Somebody's Hollywood Workout $11.98
:ps3: Tiger Woods PGA Tour 12 $8.98
:360: Game of Thrones $17.98
:360: Cabela's Adventure Camp $8.98

and the PS3 controller Mr.collection (MLB) mentioned.

By the date listed on the card, the codes should've expired in August 2011, but I know someone who redeemed theirs a month or 2 ago, and they still worked.

I found at my closest target
Xbox 360 Bolt $5.00
Xbox 360 Cars 2 $5.98
Xbox 360 Kinect Sports Season 2 8.98
PS3 God of War Collection (1+2) 14.98

a few other things, but nothing that stood out to me or that I could remember price points on.
