You sure they were actually marked at 85% off in store ($6.04 from original $39.99 is actually ~85% off, not 80%), and that's not the additional employee discount from the 70% off $11.98 price? Because I haven't seen a single store that is showing it at below $11.98, and that's out of easily a hundred locations. I suspect it was your additional employee discount which is 15% off the original price, unless I'm mistaken. Would love to find these even less than $12...

Im in the same boat...if I at least had a picture or a receipt with a DPCI number of either of these devices, I'd be able to PM possibly, but the inventory checker shows ALL stores around me are in stock for both speakers, but for $40...is it possible this deal was just for certain targets? I'm in NJ...any help would be appreciated. <3 me some clearance items, radioshack is ed so I rely on Tarjè...

oh, you are right. the website says that it has it in stock, but i have to pick it up at the guest service counter. i called ahead, to save me gas time and they said that they did not have it in stock.

I went through and scanned every game in electronics since our price change team missed a lot. You guys found most of what I saw but I also found

Also, all pre-owned PS3 games scanned as clearance but had no actual price drop from the standard $12.99 yet.

There were several other games that scanned as clearance but came up full price, including PS3 Inversion, Xbox 60 Victorious Time to Shine, and Xbox 360 Kinectimals, so that may be the case at other stores too. They should drop lower soon.

Strangely, amid all of these great clearance deals, a customer bought a copy of the god-awful PS3 game Brink for $20 (way more than it's worth). I had to laugh at the "Do not sell before 5/11/2011" sticker still on it.

Was trying to find the Hulk Smash Lab (only wanted it for the Taskmaster minifig), couldn't find it at any of my local Targets, but I was able to find the Starblaster Showdown GotG lego set for $12.99 at one, so I grabbed it.

$12.99? Odd price...that's 35% off the $19.99 price at most locations, instead of the 30% clearance point. Also, it was $12.99 and not $12.98? If so, definitely not on clearance. I checked earlier in the clearance cycle on that particular set (as well as the Knowhere Escape and every other super heroes set old and new to see which ones were on clearance...that's how I stumbled upon the insane 70% off clearance prices on the GOTG Milano, X-Men Blackbird, and Batman/Joker Steamroller sets at a couple of stores) and the Starblaster Showdown never showed up less than $19.99.

Do you recall if there was any sort of special shelf tag indicating that it's a temporary price cut or something unique to that store or very few stores? Just checked pricing online around here, lowest price showing is still $19.99 (

I did pick up Mortal Kombat Komplete PS3 for $4.06 tagged as a repackage.  It was still factory sealed.

I also picked up an "Online Item" FFXIII: Lightning Returns X360, however it is the Target Exclusive steelbook. Paid a little more for it, $9.96. And yes, I also thought the character on the cover was simply yet another androgynous emo Euro-skinny-jeans-model Squeeenix archetype "male", a la FFVII, FFVIII, FFX, etc. etc.

I'd have dropped a fiver on Anarchy Reigns, it was the sequel to Madworld and by the same developer that did The Wonderful 101 and Bayonetta, both Wii U games that the Internet loves but didn't sell at all. Nobody cared about Anarchy Reigns, so it's probably bad, but I'd give it a shot for $5.
