btw Gamestop has that Professor Layton game for $9.99 regular price in-store new, brought mine during one of the $5 off GS/Kongregate promos so mine was $4.99... it's oos at most places now though coz lots of ppl brought $9.99 games for $4.99 with the $5 off promo, one local store nearby in the boonies still has copies, but still worth checking out if your local GS stores still has new copies. http://www.gamestop.com/nintendo-3ds/games/professor-layton-and-the-miraclemask/102940

Picked up Resident Evil The Umbrella Chronicles / The Darkside Chronicles Double Pack for the Wii for $10.48. DPCI 207-26-2004. Games didn't seem to get great reviews but $10.50 for 2 games isn't bad.

I forget which one it was but I played one of them with a buddy and it was a real fun arcade-style rail shooter. You should get your $10 worth with a friend!

Rail shooters are awesome for mindless fun. These are good but house of the dead overkill is the shit for this type of game.

I know this is not a clearance game but Wind Waker HD is available in my local Target. Should I get it for the listed $50, or do you see it going down in price? What I am worried about is the game going OOP more than the price. The version they have is the one with the blue cover and not the gold one. I like the blue one better anyways.

I grabbed Street Fighter 4, Sonic Generations, Castlevania:Lords of Shadow: Mirror of Fate, One Piece Unlimited World Red, and Beyblade Evolution(brother loves Beyblade) for the 3DS.

Isn't there one more drop the week of 9/7 if they are still around? I'm interested in Naruto Powerful Shippuden, but they have 5-6 copies left, so if they are going to 90% off I might wait.

Thanks for the heads up. Picked up The last copy from a local Target. Also picked up One Piece Day One Edition, and I also picked up Naruto Powerful Shippuden. Which Castlevania game is on clearance? Thanks for posting that information.

What are your thoughts on this game? The reviews weren't good but at that price I'm not sure it matters.
It's OK. It shares very little with the classic GBA/DS Igavania games beyond a couple aesthetic things and is really a brawler with some platforming. Has some issues and is kind of repetitive but certainly worth it at that price.

All my thoughts would be coming from reviews as well. As long as you go into it expecting it to be a bit different from a normal handheld Castlevania game I'm sure it will be fine. Like you said, for that price I don't think one can complain. :)

All of you guys missed out the Toys R Us summer clearance blowout last year, :3ds: Castlevania Lords of Shadow Mirror of Fate was 95% off at $1.50.

I hate using Brickseek. Nothing is ever cached in it. No history and cookies so you can't look up previously searched items. If you want to look up the same item again, you either need to hold on to the DCPI, or remember where you found the DCPI and look for it again. Ridiculous. We're looking for cheap games and toys to buy, not reading up on international espionage.

Well it can be saved in your browser history if you used the dcpi in the web address itself but only some listings actually have the name of the game in the title of the page, some just show as the default webpage title "Check Target Inventory" instead which isn't helpful at all. Sometimes I gotta click thru a bunch of links in history to find out which one was the correct one coz the title of the page was just the default instead of the name of the game.

I just checked on the Castlevania game and it saves the name of the game correctly in the title, for example:

http://brickseek.com/target-inventory-checker?dpci=207-02-1426 shows up as "Check Castlevania Mirrors Of Fate (Nintendo 3DS) Target Inventory" as the webpage title in history. I still haven't figured out how to prefill your zipcode in the web address yet, if it's even possible, coz I'm getting tired of retyping my zipcode all the time lolol.

I didn't get anything good anywhere near that low. I think I paid around $7 mine from it.
I wish my TrU had that game... that and Skyrim Legendary were 2 games I wish I could've gotten during that 95% clearance blast. I wasn't able to get any 3DS games other than the Skylanders Giants Starter Pack for 3DS for $3 and Lego Star Wars Clone Wars III for DS bundle with the stuffed Yoda  for $1.50, the rest of the games were ranging from $.50 for Singularity to $2 for the RockStar Collection Vol 1 Pack

It's on the eshop so it's not like you won't be able to play it.

True, but I hate the fact that nintendo games are tied to a console and not accounts like PSN or Xbox live. Also, I worry that at some point Nintendo might have a brain fart and decide to remove something from the store and stop u from downloading it in the future even if u bought it, just like konami did with PT. May be I am paranoid, but that's just me.

All vita games are now clearances 50% off at my store, including newer ones like Freedom Wars. This is what I found.

All Vita:
Tearaway $20
Super Monkey Ball Banana Splitz $10
Lumines $15
Angry Birds Star Wars $10
Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2+ $10
Freedom Wars $15
Lego China $10
Tearaway $20
Dungeon Hunter Alliance $15
Wolf Among Us $15
Street Fighter vs Tekken $20
Borderlands 2 GOTY $20

I checked with price change and it looks like all of our PSP titles are also 50% off, and we had a surprisingly large selection in the back. For PS3, Puppeteer, Just Dance 4, and StarHawk are all down to $12 from $40. Pre-owned PS3 games are $2 and War for Cybertron is down to $3 (most likely salavge prices for both so ymmv)

Stopped in today for the first time in a long time and there was a bunch of really old junk "clearanced". I want to say Resistance 3 was marked down to $29.99 from $59.99 - stuff like that.

I did grab a 2-pack of RE: Umbrella/Darkside Chronicles for $10 though.

Picked up :wii: Spider-Man Edge of Time $11.98 and :wii: Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon $5.98. I also saw Transformers Prime The Game at $8.98.

Chalk that one up to a wasted trip. There were several games on the clearance list that I wanted, but they were all OOS at one of my Targets here. Still, that's only the 2nd wasted trip I've ever had with with CAG, and I've had MANY good results with the deals that CAG brings to our attention.

The best deal on clearance at my store is Rayman Legends for Vita for $14.98. Is that a good deal for that game? I have the 1st one on Vita, and I might like to find it for Wii U instead. I got a chance to play it briefly on a Wii U demo station, and it was a lot of fun.

Went to Target tonight to check out the clearance stuff. All the Vita games are gone except 2 copies of Minecraft. Grabbed one and Gardening Mama 2 for the 3DS.

Saw these tonight:

3rd Birthday 207-20-0446 $4.98
Gravity Rush 207-20-0039 2.24

Reality Fighters 207-20-0042 2.24

Found a list similar to deadtrees at mine today (i.e. almost all the remaining vita and psp stock...which seemed to have been pulled from the shelves a while ago...dumped into the clearance bin).  Grabbed Dead or Alive 5 Plus...just because.  Might have grabbed Minecraft if I'd seen it (even though I hate physical releases for vouchers), but didn't find that one.

Got the last UMvC3 (Vita) in my area. Lot's of other Vita and 3DS games left. Makes me think if I should wait for One Piece to drop some more.

Went back and found a few other vita games (all with clearance tags) floating around the ps3/ps4 section and a budget shelf they never took down from that one sale months ago.  So I grabbed Minecraft (which I'll probably just end up playing on ps3 thanks to the cross buy).

I've had good luck if there is more than 1 in stock. If it's 1 available they are usually in the display case in the plastic prison. I would check if it's not out of your way. If you can't find it, ask an employee for help
How accurate is the Brickseek Inventory Tracker? says 1 available in my area, do i dare go check?

YMMV but my local Target was giving away free Thermos Star Wars plastic lunch boxes to kids.  Had heard nothing about this and don't see anything on a quick search but they had a couple boxes and an employee just hanging out handing them out.  Has a big Target logo next to the Star Wars one but she's still happy.

Found a picture of it on Twitter:
