Target Clearance Thread XXII

I'll post a mess of DPCIs later however I suggest anyone interested in any limited/collector's edition that Target stores carry or have carried, check out your local stores because most of the DPCIs are returning 0 inventory via the online checkers. Yet, I am seeing them in the cases (and subsequently purchasing them). Most are 70% off despite incorrect clearance stickers. There may be more in the back stockrooms so you might want to check instore inventory checkers/scanners.
Thus far I've found all the different CoD Advanced Warfare special/limited and atlas pro editions for the various consoles at 70% off, Destiny limited edition x360 and ps3 70% off, Rocksmith PS3 70% off, and a bunch of other stuff. Also it stacks with not only the 10% off electronics and games today only cartwheel but also the $5 off $50/$10 off $100 etc. coupons/codes and if you have registry 15% off, wishlist if it's still valid, movers, pharmacy etc. it doesn't hurt to try and stack. Remember that the cartwheel discount only applies to 4 items per purchase but you can use it up to 6 times I believe in separate transactions.

Thanks, my local Target got like a whole stack of Second Son. I also saw Skyrim Legendary Edition among clearance cart for $15
Yup check for huge bins of games marked clearance half off in and around electronics. It's mostly a shitshow of garbage and shovelware but there are some deals to be had. I plan to hit a few more stores today while the 10% off cartwheel is active...I actually only have two more purchases until I hit the 6 per day cartwheel limit.

If you really want a DCPI for something, I just always type the name of the game and "dcpi target" at the end of my search to find it. I do this while in store so I can dial it in if I don't want to ask an employee for help to see if it is in stock or not. Brickseek.com also shows popular searches.

Some things of note: The Target in La Quinta, CA has on a clearance rack “30% off Discontinued Video Games”. What that means is up to the cashier’s interpretation, but I managed to get them to stack that to all the games I got from the clearance bin, which then I also added the 10% coupon from cartwheel, for essentially 40% off games. Also found a copy of Persona Q w/Tarot Cards in that hot mess which I also got that sweet 40% off. I also price matched a Layton vs Phoenix Wright from the Toy’s R Us 3DS/Wii U online clearance for $9 bucks, turns out cartwheel works on price matches, who knew. Managed to find a hidden copy in the video game prison cubes, remember to ALWAYS CHECK them, that’s how I managed to get Kid Icarus last month.
Slightly off topic, in case no one has heard yet, Toy’s R Us is dumping 3DS and WIi U games for $10 bucks, things I bothered remembering were Pokemon Rumble World (Good luck finding that), Layton Vs Phoenix Wright (Copies are thinning fast!), and Mario Tennis: Open Something I Can’t Remember

Found a few NCAA Football 14 for PS3 and X360 with AS IS stickers priced $10.46 each. All factory sealed. No stickers or crossing out of their UPC codes so they were ringing up $14.98 lemme get the receipt for their DPCIs. 207-24-0915 and 207-22-0915. X360 is by far the more valuable one, but the PS3 version has been going up as well (and has quite a few stores that still show it in stock).
Also found a PS4 Tomb Raider Definitive Edition for $9.98 (half off), with a sticker over the UPC (which shows 696055253579). The DPCI it shows on the receipt is 207-34-0971, which is the DPCI on the clearance sticker for half off on the front. Oddly enough, that DPCI returns the PS4 version of Thief. Found the PS4 version of Tomb Raider Definitive as 207-34-0633 on target.com listed at $22.99. That correct DPCI shows $14.98 at a few stores and "-" or "N/A" on the rest however none have it in stock (allegedly).
Also found a Dungeon Hunter Alliance with a clearance sticker of 70% off $29.99 -> $8.98 which was hidden behind an endcap. Was out of the system as it most likely cleared out in the last round of PSV clearance.

I saw the thread earlier in the day (like 6 am Pacific) on slickdeals (I think it started around 3 am this morning), checked a couple of the items reported (Mario Tennis 3DS, Professor Layton vs. Phoenix Wright , Professor Layton and the Azran Legacy, Pokemon Rumble) and already they weren't available to order online and no stores within 50 miles had any so I figured it was already raped to death - at least locally. Given that most were showing "limit 5 per customer/order" and some "limit 20 per customer/order" I figured slickdealers had already cleared out all stock both to ship and at local stores. Nothing to go on a wild goose chase crazy over.

Yeah, just checked the website and there are a whole bunch of $9.99 3DS games but many are OOS for shipping and all the good ones are OOS at local stores. Oh well, would have been a nice pairing with that $5 off 3DS game coupon.

You all might want to also check the DPCI for the massive, almost 3000 piece Lego UCS (Ultimate Collector Series) SHIELD Helicarrier at your local stores via brickseek etc. DPCI is 204-00-1400. You might get very lucky and be very pleasantly surprised at what the price is in the system at a store or two near you. Or if there are a couple or handful of stores that show "-" or "N/A" i.e. no price on it, give those stores a call or visit and get a price check for the last known price on that DPCI if it is coming up item not found (majority of stores will most likely show $349.99 or even worse $399.99). Then see if the "ship to store" option is available on it for any of those stores that have/had it priced down. One store very close to me had it in the system at $104.98 (70% off however this price will probably drop out of the system tomorrow as it is now showing "-") last week and it allowed me to ship them to that store. Picked them up this morning. Now I don't feel all that bad about not scoring a bunch of those Walmart 1500 piece creator tubs for $27/$30.

It was the first game i ever got for my PS4, Paid 30 for it When it first came out. There was a Kmart closing in my location and they had these weird glitches coupons for like 20 off 50 and other things. It wasn't meant for the store that was already closing, But i was able to get a bunch of games for almost nothing. Infamous i paid 30 for because i needed the 20 Bucks in Preorder points they give you before i started paying 9.99 a game lol.
Depends on Location, i know that in some areas of Florida most of this stuff is already sold out before it hits clearance, I'm currently in Colorado Springs and there is a lot to be found out here, most people don't buy what they don't understand out here. lol.
