Usually the mod changes in the store for newer items so there isn't a location on the floor for items being phased out. That's why you usually see them on endcaps or in the back room. Just going off the stores I went to that had the controllers, there was no location for them on the sales floor b/c the location for controllers were all taken up by the newer colors.

 
Both targets in my town that still had elites sold out over the past two weeks, BS and app were still showing full price so I guess people really wanted one. Still no mark down from Walmart that I've seen
 
Just came back from my Target. Was able to switch payment AND get the difference back on the DS4s. Also, they had another 1 in clearance. Score!!!
 
Had a store that showed limited midnight blue, no where to be found. Today it says gone. I'm tempted to try the change of payment method on the ocean.

Whaddaya know? They went from three in stock last night to out of stock this morning. [emoji58][emoji19][emoji849] The controllers are supposedly in stock at a Target 35 miles from my work/job, but that’s a little far to drive on another hope and prayer after my last crappy experience...
 
yeah idk, I wouldn't call ahead but if you don't mind the drive you may as well try, spoof yourself at the store and check if the app accurately shows stock and price first tho

 
Store near a theater I'm going to tonight claims Instock for Midnight Blue for $20. Gonna swing by there because I'd love to have a second official DS4 on standby, but this store has given me issues with false positives before (And also employees apparently keeping stuff in backroom, like the Nendoroids)

 
On a random note, I stopped by my Target today after work and was pleasantly surprised to see two Xbox Elite Controllers on the clearance rack for $44.XX.  This is noteworthy because I had inquired previously about the item at this location and was told that the inventory was off (and that they were OOS).  Apparently, the items had been placed somewhere non-obvious....or something equally illogical. 

Regardless, my brother will be quite happy with these as he was envious about the two I scored a few weeks back. 

I also scored a Playstation VR Headset (model 3001560) that was listed "AS IS" at $74.XX, 50% off the listed price of $149.99.  It didn't come with the PS camera, which is no biggie.  I'd guess it was a random return, since I haven't seen this model in stock at my location for some time. 

 
So I went to a Target that had an endcap with I Dream of Jeannie dolls, Star Trek Kirk and Spock dolls from the 60s, and Retro 60s Batman dolls in the toy department and thought is this for collectors or kids? Are there I Dream of Jeannie fans out there that I wasn't aware of?

 
A store here got a large restock of volcano controllers according to someone on SD, not one at the $20 price but it seems to be the only store here that got them
 
Had a store that claimed to have 4 Midnight Blue in stock on BS with the help of a helpful Target Employee nothing turned up which perplexed him. Well always next time.

It's a revival of the old Mego 8-inch figures from the 1970s.

And I grabbed Injustice, DriveClub and Project Cars Greatest Hits for PS4 for $5.98 each that were mismarked on the shelf tags. Guy overrode the prices for me and then removed the shelf tags as I walked away.

I've noticed a trend at my Target where they have plenty of something in stock, yet it comes up as OOS on BS...and then they refuse to clearance it.

not clearanced, but if anyone is big into funko pops, the Rick and Morty Gearhead pop was released for sale yesterday ahead of friday's NYCC sales, so you can get it today if you were hoping to snag it

I've heard that but they are Android compatible too without any limitations from what I can tell. I'd definitely pick them up at $44.98 if I saw them at that price. My closest store had 2 but still at $74.98.

Saw the Shark Ion for 50% off last week. Some stores dropped it down to $83 at 70% this week.

Good looking out Romeo. I just tracked one of these down at the only store selling it for $83.98. Two stores were listed but at the first one it still rang up $139.99. I scored the last one at another store where another gentleman was holding the last available unit in his hands before returning it to the shelf. You've gotta be quick when snatching up these 70% clearances! We've needed to replace our smelly upright vacuum for few years. I've been playing with it this afternoon and it works excellently. This was a great deal; thanks for posting.

battery life is reported to be 20-30min btw, with 3.5hours to full charge.

You're very welcome! It's funny... does it make me old that I was excited to grab it today too? I saw the drop and ran out first thing this morning to the store I had my eye on since I knew they only had one left.

not at all man, lol. I was excited too! I've been casually looking for a good, cheap upright vacuum for years. It's one of those things you hate spending money on.

anyone used that vacuum before? I  have a large clunky standup that I use to vacuum my bed once in awhile from dog shedding, wondering if the shark is suitable in that scenario

Not that one, but I have a Dyson V6, and it cuts down cleaning so insanely much. I vaccuum daily for like 2 minutes and it's clean. And 1-2 times a week for couch/bed, which is another 2-3 minutes. I bust out the big vacuum like once every 2 weeks now.

The main thing you'd want is this tool, regardless of the vacuum. I don't know how Shark's are, but I wouldn't give up my Dyson for anything.

 
Thanks I might look into getting one, I have a roomba which helps a ton with the dog hair, but lugging my old ass upright around the apartment to spot clean is a huge pita

Thanks, got 1 for $83.98. Location has 6 in stock, minus the one i bought, but i only saw 2 on the shelf. I suspect the others are elsewhere on endcaps or in the back.

You know you are a real grown up when you get excited about vacuum cleaners. And they say we are childish for playing games...pppfffh.

 
If anybody is near the Streetsboro OH 44241 store, as of 5pm they had 3 or 4 of the Sony Wireless Gold Headsets left.  207-00-0043.  brickseek has been showing them in stock and $44 but in store they were not marked down and rang up full price until sometime in the past few days.  I purchased 3 today for the $44 and they finally had the clearance stickers on them.  on an endcap facing away from the entrance.  also if you don't find any, check the endcaps near the clearance fans cause I left one there (what would I do with 4 of them anyway).

$15 is a decent price point. It's not that it's a complete piece of crap, but don't expect it to miraculously clean surfaces. I bought it because I didn't have a ladder at the time, and it worked OK for that. I just think that these products shouldn't have commercials where the dirt comes off like magic and then you get a real one and end up still having to do more scrubbing with a brush or a sponge to get a surface clean.
 
So a Target in Bloomington, MN suddenly showed stock of 10 Xbox Elite controllers in stock at $45 this morning.

I went to the store and associate said they were salvaged and sent back to manufacturer. Savage, MN popped up with 2 in stock, bit they showed 6 before and then 0 awhile back, so doubtful they are actually there.

Still a bunch of stores with 1 or 2 in stock at MSRP of $150.

Definitely odd that these ghost inventory keep randomly showing up.
