Target Clearance Thread XXIV

Jfc you guys are getting insane hauls of games here... I checked yesterday and the only clearance game they had was one lone copy of CoD Ghosts for $9.98...not great lol
If it makes you feel any better I went by my local Target the other day and left with a pair of God of War socks for $2.98 and a Donkey Kong hat for $9.98.

In case anyone is looking for a new fitness tracker.

Fitbit Charge 3 Special Edition, 1/2 off.

Btw I'm super jelly of those game hauls from the past few posts. Mostly crickets here in the East Bay.

Went to a different Target location yesterday. They had the usual titles on clearance already mentioned and I passed on all of them. But what really surprised me was when I pulled one game off the end cap to look at and a few games fell off the side and hit the floor. The top three rows didn't have bookends! If the games on those rows tilt left or right, a bunch of them are going to obey gravity. I wonder who thought that would be a good idea.

So for both the store's and customers' benefits, I took it upon myself to create bookends by taking multiple copies of the same games and placing them cover forward on each end.

Not only does my Target suck with clearance, but the new SW toys they advertised are like completely gone already. It slipped my mind to check online last night and see if they had put anything up, but realistically I was thinking I'd just stop by a store today and get what I wanted. Yeah, big fucking mistake.

Don't advertise Force Friday if you're going to be sold out of the entire 1 box you sent your stores of stuff. Just awful.

They were building the front end cap for it this morning at the Target I popped into. Didn't even know about it. I did see a lot do those BB-8 Legos still for $49.98

Fun easy build and has moveable parts in case anyone is in the fence about it.

All I know is I need these pops. . .

I love when guest services get mad for no reason.

Picked up games that were scanning in as item not found so I took them to customer service to find out their last prices (2 were clearance, 2 weren't) and we all know the prices scanned from the app arent always the same as the ones from in-store but she kept insisting that those prices from the app were the right ones (Onrush for example had a clearance sticker for $14.98, scanned in the app for $20.99, very inconsistent as it's always been) and she just gave me a look when I said "that's fine" as a normal response

Irritated Target employees sure are the best

The Hori D-Pad handheld mode joycons are $9.98 each. Down from $14.99 last week. There were a ton on the shelf at my local store.

207-00-0194 Zelda

E: Some stores might be $15

They have to remain connected and don't have rumble but considering the Switch Lite is a thing, that probably won't be an issue.

What should I except of the price is N.A. on Brickseek? I'm guessing it will be price not found on their in-store scanners?
Majority of the time, yes. Usually these items are salvage (to be returned to sender, sold off or destroyed) or they'll marked the items as is or online item.

Anki Overdrive - Fast and the Furious edition

was 170, saw for 85.  207-17-0123

Pac Man pin set

$7 - 207-17-0097

And I also saw the previously mentioned PS Move controllers for $69 and $10 Zelda Hori Joycon

Or even as simple as, it was damaged in some way and taken to the back to be sent back but was never taken out of the system.

Beats Solo3 Wireless On-Ear Headphones - Silver
Beats Solo3 Wireless Headphones silver 40% off - $179.99 https://brickseek.com/target-inventory-checker?sku=008-07-0173

RE7 ps4 is showing up over 90% off at around $5.

I’ll most likely pick up vanilla RE7 anyway (cuz, come on...$5.06 is chump change for that game), but would it also be worth picking the gold version? It’s $19.99 on Amazon and $20 is usually my “buy price” for gold/deluxe/special/etc. editions of games.
Also found these guys at the Pasadena, CA Target:

The Technomancer - $19.99 => $5.98

Gundam Versus - $19.99 => $5.98

Technomancer very underrated. It was free for ps plus couple months ago

I knew it would be a matter of time before these hit clearance as they have sat nearly stagnant for the entire time they’ve been on the shelf at my local stores.

Only one store me currently has these at this price and it’s the Pokemon model, but there were about 20 of them - definitely holding out for 70% off.

Only thing I found was No Man’s Sky XB1. It was tagged at $49.99 (yellow sticker) but scanned at $14.98. Someone reported it at $7.48 so I can wait.

Also, noticed that most clearance/value games were locked up in a big plastic case placed above the plastic prisons. I wish I would’ve taken a picture. All the games were stuffed in there with about 3 games in front blocking the rest. The 3 games in front had yellow stickers with the price and a barcode. This is the first time I have seen this at Target. It kind of reminded me of Kmart but much more inefficient.

What day does target do their markdowns?
Electronics is supposed to be done Mondays. But since the obligation of doing the markdowns has been put on the floor staff, it's less consistent store to store. The ones around me have been mostly Monday, but some drops have happened Tuesday and Wednesday this week.

Thanks. Have a few things im watching.

Found the only Nintendo Switch Hori (Zelda) Joycon/D-Pad at any of the Target's in my area.

The problem was that someone tore open the box and stole the contents inside :(

Can we switch Targets? Mine hasn't had any good clearance games in months.

I hit a Target last night and got super excited, so many titles listed here recently were on an endcap.

Not a single effing one had a clearance price. They all scanned full MSRP.

I'm pretty sure I'm going to call the police.

Oooh thanks. My store claims to have like 4 or 5 of these and I was there like 2 days ago and saw a bunch of these in the unmarked end-caps. Definitely want Dead Rising, Megaman, and Pillar's if they are still there.

Must be new drops because I know I scanned Megaman and Dead Rising myself within the past week

My local targets are doing the N/A thing like it's going outta style.

I'm guessing I won't be seeing markdowns past 50%

What really sucks is that some the home goods are going N/A at 30% off.  :/

Did fitbits ever go on clearance this year? Last couple of years was around end of August to September. But I didn't see anything this time around.

The sad thing is, it's never these Scrooge Targets that end up closing. Just the ones which actually provide good clearance deals.

(Pours one out for the former Target in the redneck part of town, which always let games hit 70% off or more...)

Went back and scanned more stuff.  Didn't get all these and going off of memory but

Good luck !! Target is semi YMMV. I know for sure because I saw Bomberman R on clearance for $10 (should now be $6) but the same target I got everything from had it locked in display and it rang up for $40 even though the display literally said $30 so who knows.

HOLY SMOKES, I created a new account just to post that, after what seemed like months, that Target Clearance was back.. Guess I'm late to the party huh?

Anyways, wow, some quick questions..

1. Really want Shadow of Collosus and Persona 5 for the $5.98 price, any suggestions for getting them since every target around me for miles does not have em available? ebay, trades, what?

2. Zone Of Enders was FREE for ps3 from ps+ right? Is there much of a difference from that version and its ps4 version besides the VR element?  i.e. is it worth the 40mile drive to a Target that has it for $5.98?

3. Same for Shadow Of the Colossus..My research says it was built from ground up for the ps4, but wanting to know what that actually means? I mean I have this and ico for ps3 and so wondering if the ps4 version is worth it? aka 55min drive just to see if they have it for $5.98, I mean is it worth it or not for the ps4 version of the game?

Appreciate all input on this, thanks in advance

Sean P II
