to any Audiofiles out there i have a question,
according to a Amazon review, its sums up that "turtle beach Dss 2 is not dolby 7.1 or 5.1 it is closer to 4.1 The new DSS2 has adjustable speaker angles as an added option because you only get 4 sound outputs, thats right ONLY 4: front right, rear right, front left, and rear left." where as the Dss is a simulated surround sound of dolby 7.1 or 5.1.
for anyone who has tried the dss & the dss 2, how do they sound in comparison?
i personally like the dss but at times it feels that the DD 7.1/5.1 mode sounds a bit echoey at times bland and so i switch back and forth with DD and the stereo by pass, in which i find at selective times the by pass a bit more accurate in terms of sound location
