I can't believe those 4pm games. After Miami played so well against the Giants I suspected theyd play KC tough, I didn't think they'd win though. I'm happy to be part of the last 11. Remember the first game next week is on a Thursday.

Thursday is the date.

1) It makes the game harder, separating the wheat from the chaff.
2) You still have to get your picks in before any games of that week are played.
3) Eventually we'll get to Thanksgiving which'll have three games so it's better to get used to it now.

what a joke philly losing to arizona. that's what you get for having that overrated quarterback. i know this is your contest admiral but making us pick a team before thursday is costly because how are we suppose to know that desean jackson was gonna get bench
It was fun while it lasted. Out of curiosity what happens if the Ravens lose as well?
Then no one is eliminated and all 11 players pick again next week.

If the Ravens lose, we all pick again next week. So root root root for Seattle! (They are currently in the lead 10-0).

If baltimore loses then everyone survives.

The deadline is always before the first game of the week. No exceptions. I can't help it that Philly isn't good this year. I live outside Philly in Northern DE and I knew that picking Philly was a mistake. But, of course I couldn't say anything.

not trying to be rude or anything all i am trying to say is that the news of desean jackson wasnt known until after the deadline.

Iunderstand what you're saying. But the rule still stands.

Injuries always come up last second too. I should have taken Dallas like I wanted to but second guessed. So stupid. I have to pick a winner from now on ugg

What a rollercoaster of emotions my day has seen.

That's so crazy, if one person had picked New Orleans, or Pittsburgh, or even Houston, we would have a winner.

Technically you wouldn't have known about the Jackson benching until after the deadline since it wasn't announced until early this morning and Admiral's deadline is usually Saturday nights around 8PM (he's been very nice about letting picks in on Sunday though). At any rate, those have always been the rules and it's really a gamble every week regardless of the information known (I guess unless your play the Colts). So just choose your team and enjoy the generosity of Admiral running this great contest HIS way.

Can't believe the Eagles botched this game to the great John Skelton, but I should expect as much from the "Dream Team". Thankfully Seattle pulled through with a huge upset for the second time this year in beating the Ravens. Pretty awesome that all of us are still in despite choosing losing teams this week.

Unbelievable. I lost to Skelton last year and he almost got me again. I'm fine with the Thursday deadline, it applies for everyone, and as others have said, Admiral runs this contest, he makes the rules. If you don't like them, don't play. The Eagles really shouldn't have needed Desean Jackson to beat the Cardinals anyway.

Just to clarify, since we picked those teams, even though they lost, we can't use them again, correct?

That is correct. Those teams are done.
